The Battle Is Finally Over

My father died today at 3:10pm, I know it doesn’t belong here , but every one I know goes to the Anabolic board. My father was a power lifter back in the 1962-1975 after that he started to raise the family. He been going to dialysis from 1989-1995 then he had a transplant after a couple of month he got sick again. And he stayed at the dialysis from 1996 to 2003, my father only had sufferance ‘til, now last February he stayed in the hospital for 6 month, every week he needed a operation… After that we wasn’t the same, He told me to try to get the strongest I can and never stop training because when you’re my age you’ll lose a lot of it, He was always telling me” Look at this I can’t even lift the fork off the table” or “ Look at this I can’t even lift…" He told me to live my life without regret ,live one day at a time, live life to the fullest and never stop training.

Thanx I really needed to take that off my chest.

MOD feel free to move or delete, just let me know , ok

 :bawling:

Sorry to hear about your loss. Its always hard to deal with when someone you love passes on. In times like this you need to get it off your chest and if this is the place you feel most comfortable doing it, more power to ya!!

My sympathies go out to you and your family, just remember the good times and forget the bad!!

Peace bro!

Wise words from a wise man. Our training conditions both our mind and bodies.

My thoughts go out to you and your family..

Those are definitely some wise and touching words ..

I am sorry for your loss King, but I believe he is happier now...

I just wanted to say thanx again to all of you guy's, I really appreciated this coming from all of you. I know I don’t post as much as I want, because I have difficulty with my English. I just take the board as my family. I’m just glad I had the chance to make friends and this is the best Body building board on the net. The Iron Game was always a big part of my family, When my father was 18 he weight at 245lbs (he was a power lifter) he had a big bench , clean, and military press. Is squat was on the low side. My cousin was the same age as my fater died when he was 17,( he was around 215) he was a big part of my dad training, He was the first Bodybuilder in my town. Now today generation, there only 2 of my cussing and me. I remember my dad bought me my first set of weight at the age of 6. I kinda love those day’s.

Thanx again

tri~zilla- If you need to talk don’t be shy, at the end my father was kinda like that, it hurt to see them that way…

Sorry to hear about your loss bro! Everyone goes through their own trials and tribulations. My mother is a current lung transplant survivor, but now facing kidney transplant due to the kidney toxic anti-rejection drugs. My father was recently diagnosed with CLLeukemia. It's sad, but faith must be strong. I will pray for you. Can I ask what brought on your fathers kidney failure?

Sorry to hear about your loss. Your dad is right about livin each day and doing what you love. Never stop lifting or livin..At least now he is in a better place and probly racking up wheels in the sky. Remember the love and hold on tight to those memories. You'll make it through this and we're here for you.

king of spades........
you are right, after he came out of the the coma, i waited until his memory and mind came back better and sat down and we went over all the things good and bad between us.......when he told me the things he thought he had done wrong......i told him not to even think twice about it because i have all ready made some mistakes with the way i raise my daughters as well.......we got everything off our chests but i still
don't know how i will feel when he really goes.....i will miss him so
much......
