That puking feeling

ok so i'm bulking insanely right now, basically all i'm doing all day long is eating nonstop and then working out hardcore and sleeping. it's getting to the point where i'm eating so much that i feel like puking, and then i go to the gym and train to failure and feel like puking, so basically i feel like puking all day. it's not a fun feeling. is there any way to get around this?

Firstly , you should gradually increase your calories. Increase 1 extra meal a day each week until you hit 6. I went from 3 to 6 meal immediately and it was bad. Couldnt shit, puking feeling, farted like no tomorrow.

The puking feeling in the gynm could be related to your body adjusting to high intensity training. I feel like that after a hard set of deads/squats. You'll get more conditioned over time. Oh yea, dont work out on a full stomach.

Hope this helps ya. :)

I did a giant set for my back one time, and i felt like puking..

i did bentover row, pull ups, db row and close grip pulldowns...

that was the last time i did that shit...haha

rj: not a PLer, just happen to have a month-long break from school wherein all i'm doin is focusing on getting bigger.

coldshot: yeah i increased my meals gradually, but im now literally either stuffing food down my mouth or gulping down a protein shake. it's almost gross. i eat about 30 mins before i lift, u think that's bad?

try this, eat 1 hr before u work out, then a shake 30 min before u work out... i read it in musclemag...i do it, it works good...

Not really... I've read in studies (pssh studies) that it is an indication of your body's natural GH kicking in... it usually happens on deadlifts, squats, leg presses... high exertion of the entire body... heavy compound movements.

But that is one of the greatest feelings of lifting I know of. :) If I hit that, I am pretty sure I got a good workout. :)

I hear you bro. The eating is the worst part about bodybuilding. Just stick with it and you will get incredible gains.

Also it may be beneficial not to eat a big meal at least 1 hour before training. This way your body isnt using energy to digest the food in your stomach when you are doing your workout. Try have a big meal about 1.5-2 hours before your workout and another small snacky meal that is high in simple carbs and quick fix protein (eg Shake or something) about 30 minutes before the workout. Seems to work for me and training without a bloated stomach reduces that nauseaus feeling.

I get that puking feeling but only when I eat too much before I work out, coupled with drinking too much water during work out. Feels like I'm gonna puke the water back out but I'm thirsty at the same time. Not a good feeling, hope thats the GH lol. Happens almost every time when I'm doing pushups.
