Test+Deca, Heart Palpitations

You need to see your Doc and have an ECG done. If it's a random occurrence they'll send you home w/a portable ECG (Holter Monitor) to wear to record so they can see what it's doing when it happens.

Sounds like Paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia (PSVT)

How long do the episodes last?

Well, this may freak someone out, but they never stop actually. Whenever I check my pulse it's irregular.

The strange thing is I can sleep fine, there's no dizziness, shortness of breath or chest pain (PSVT symptoms).

Should I avoid working out until I get it checked out? Because I do experience shortness of breath during my workouts, which I believe is normal but you never know.

I have PSVT and don't get chest pains or dizziness, shortness of breath or any of that.

At first what you have sounds very similar to myself, but if it's nonstop you have got something else going on.

Don't fuck around w/your heart. Go get an ECG

Hmm..not sure bro.

Like I said i'd go get an ECG just to be safe. Could be something really minor and not a big deal but you don't wanna ignore it. Your heart is kind of important LOL!

Most likely they'll put you on some sort of beta blocker, but I dunno. Need to figure out what exactly is the problem first.

Let us know how it turns out.

Yeah, I'm going either way. I'll take an appointment tomorrow. It'll be weird going to a cardiologist when I'm only 26 haha. Hopefully it's nothing major.

Thanks, plank!

I had one around 24-26..can't remember exactly.

It's not a big deal....If it's not doing it while you're there they'll send you home w/a portable monitor to wear.

I ended up having enough of it one night and just went to the ER because I didn't know wtf was wrong so I got mine done while it was happening.

good luck!

It's not annoying enough to get me to go to the ER.

I just had a thought, could it be caused by overtraining? Although, I don't think I am, my strength/size are both going up. If I'm overtraining I don't think I'd be getting stronger.

I dunno man..that's why you just need to get it checked out. Doesn't sound serious, but you dunno. So many things can cause what you're experiencing.

It could be as simple as Stress, anxiety, exercise, caffeine intake, nicotine intake, etc or something more serious like heart disease, heart valve, overactive thyroid, etc etc.
