Teen arrested on child porn charges after posting photos of his ex

if you can charge a 16 year old as an adult then you can treat some dumb bitch taking pics of herself as an adult. i would drop the child pornography charge but the other charge stays.

Agreed. he should be in legal trouble but not for child porn. She took the pics and sent them to him. She has to take some responsibility for her own child porn pics that she emailed him. Who made the porn? HER

So, let me get this straight. Because you have girls, your opinion is more valid then mine. I mean no disrespect, but that's a pretty weak argument.

Using the same logic, no one should take any credence to any of your opinions of blacks, democrats, world politics, and other items that you don't have direct and personal influence and experience on. Hell, you should even be on this one because you have never posted up a naked picture of a girl on Myspace and see FIRSTHAND the damage that is caused by it.

I believe that the damage to her will be significantly less long term them him. When she applies for a job 40 years from now, they won't see that picture; but they will find out that he's a sex offender and beat his ass again 40 years after the incident.

Don't get me wrong. The guys a douche and should get a ass kicking right now. But to get an ass kicking for the next 40 years (labeled a sex offender)? That's a little much.

no no, i'm not saying that my desire to protect the weaker sex (now that's old school right there for sure) is more important or better qualified to state an opinion than you..

As far as the sentencing, did you know that if a person is convicted of domestic violence, they are disqualified to carry a handgun in most states?? , so him being labeled a sex offender doesn't bother me at all..

and my opinions are all based on my life experiences, both in the military, in the fed government, and now as a business owner... so i tend to speak to the issues i have experience with, and i don't with the things i don't have experience with..

How about child molestation?? i can talk about that at length.. Or maybe rape and spousal abuse, and physical and mental abuse of children.. Yep, i can talk about all those things too..

But anyway.. your position is boys will be boys, slap them on the wrist, because the girl is a slut and she has no value in society, i get it.. if that's not your position, that's just how it's coming across.

dang, that sounds harsh, I didn't mean it to come out that way, but i don't know how else to put it without typing yet another paragraph.

Wait, the blonde in me is so confused... how can it be child pornography if it is created by an underage to begin with? Isn't it just porn (which is legal in this country, thank god)??

It's based exclusively on the age of the individual. Last year they were charging a teenage girl with child pornography for taking pictures of herself and distributing them. If you're taking pictures of an underage person and/or distributing them then you fall under the statute.

After they broke up he posted her nudie shots on the internet that she took and sent to him while they were dating and refused to take them down.

Personally, I think they're both responsible and the both deserve to face the consequences of their actions.

If he gets charged for child pornography she should as well being that she was the photographer.

I think that is fair.

Good judges look at the intent of the legislature when they interpret laws. Clearly the intent of child porn laws is to protect children from exploitation. That is not the case in this situation. IMO the DA is overreacting.

They should both get 'life' for being assholes.

He should get Herpes Simplex VII and she should get pregnant with quints.

Welcome to 'life'. Welcome to a world where your actions have consequences.

neandrafucks mucking up the genepool. Feh.

Trying to teach the douchebag kid a lesson. No judge will sentence him the same way they would sentence an adult. He'll get community control for 3-4 years just to check his attitude toward law and order.

Uh, but SHE took the damn pictures! And SHE sent them to him!
