LOL...we want to keep things relatively simple. If not, you'd have to take 50 pills to the tanning salon or beach just to tan.
The ones I mentioned are the most important and effective.
Thanks Fonz for the excellent melanin stack.
As you know I will be embarking on a journey with most of those supps. for fat-burning and cognitive boosting benefits.
I was aware of the L-Tyrosine converting to dopa via uva and uvb stimulation and recomended it in a post regarding tanning, a coupleof months ago.
Will 4 gms cause excessive stimulation? What is your(and all members) experience with high doses of tyro. as it can raise dopamine levels quite effectively which may cause excess stim.
On the flip-side of that coin, tyrosine converts into dopamine and norpenephrine. Dopamine first which I read has a blood pressure lowering effect, then nor-epi which has a raising effect. So as far as stim. from a blood pressure mechanism of action, there's no cause for concern.
I have some great tyrosine on hand and am eager to give it a try,for tanning, inducing a focused/vigilant state of mind for lifting and I heard by some that it can actually calm down the jitters from fat burners. Can you please comment on this....Thanks.
1. 4g L-Tyrosine
2. 200mg R-ALA or 600mg ALA
3. 1000mg Green Tea(98% Polyphenols 60% Catechins)
4. 1500mg Acetyl-L-Carnitine
5. 1g Vit. C and 400IU Vit. E
Thats it. Not expensive at all, and it will definately give you piece of mind. I have been tanning outdoors and indoors for 6 years using this stack, and have never had any problems whatsoever.
I think the idea is to get a tan and using supplements to increase the tan and to reduce the damage. I mentioned that lycopene SPF of 3. I believe that is saying that it prevents UV damage rather then prevents the UV light from entering the skin like sun block does. The studies show that subjects using lycopene, lutein did not get sunburned as quickly as someone who had not taken the supplements. What is not clear is if the tanning process is still stimulated as much or if it is reduced also.

Fonz, I know this is a bit off topic but re: your 100mg Var cutter, do you think the 100mg ED made a difference compared to a 60mg ED doseage as some peeps report anything above 60mg ED is a waste?
Since SPF 15 pretty much cuts all UVA rays, anything higher is a waste. Also, if you cut all UVA you lose some of the benefits. Plus, you have a greater chance of getting skin cancer if you're overexposed to too much UVB , even if you don't burn.
Common sense folks. Everythig in moderation. This concept of doing stupid things, then corecting it with supps and drugs is not the best course.
