Doesnt that lower the nutritional value or something instead of baking it?

im not sure tbh...

That been said microwave cooking is one of the healthiest so I couldnt see how nutrients would be lost

No - how would lower the nutritional value?

I do find it hilarious that grocery stores charge from $1.00 to $2.00 per tater for stuff that comes pre-shrink wrapped. You can buy pounds of taters for that price.

They don't taste as good, and are a little chewy when they come out... but overall yes it works well and is quick. I bake mine ahead of time in the toaster oven so I have them already ready. I just set 3 or 4 of them for about 1 hour 10 minutes and go do something else. Then I individually wrap them up and stick them in the fridge. Good stuff.

cheers zenpop might give that a try see how they come out..

they are a biy chewy out of the microwave but hey I prefer saving time than taste if that makes any sense

They never taste so good in the microwave but of course much more convenient if you're pushed for time
