When speaking about supplements I am referring to "legal supplements", however, "steroids" fall into the same category.

The title says "best to just stay away" and it's true. Make food your one and only supplement. Don't depend on anything else, don't have that crutch, and don't let the "placebo" own your mind.

Creatine, thermogenics, HMB, ZMA, Andro, etc. etc. is nothing but garbage for your body. You folks are trying to build, shape and promote positive growth for your body/temple correct? Stick to food only.

You may say this supplement does this or this supplement does that for me, it's not doing anything food can't do or your mind can't do. Save some money!

Peace

What's this "Food" stuff? Do you have a source?

That approach works great if you're after the type of build posessed by Steve Reeves, Reg Park, etc...

Unfortunately, marijuana is classified as a "drug", an illegal substance, yet it is a plant that grows from the earth producing healthy leaves fortifed with boron, magnesium and zinc. Also, hemp seeds are by far superior to any other seed in the galaxy containing omegas, poly and mono ratios that no seed can rival. It is classified as a "drug" because the government does not have a solution to controlling it if it were legal. If the govt. cannot have its way then it creates lies, deceit and an aura of falseness. peace

 "On the contrary"? I thought we were on the same page regarding that.

Yeah but where do you draw the line?

Whey protain concentrate is a food porduct found in many regular types of foods. Just because you isolate it and put it in a shake does that make it a supplement?

How about Flax Seed Oil? That's a food.

Or are you just talking about pills? What about probiotics or ginger? Those are both natural.

Seriously, where do you draw the line between food and supplement?

It is illegal because special interest groups, the alcohol and tobacco lobby, pay off our politicians to keep it that way. Why let us choose when there is money to lose?

FUCKING TYRANTS

I misread your original statement, my fault, I meant to say that I personally dwarf the living shit out of reeves and the other folks mentioned by following the above advice. Don't limit yourself with thinking like that.

The word "hardcore" was mentioned, hardcore can also be defined as being bigger, leaner, having more muscle maturity, shape and symmetry than 99% of folks on gear or supplements, that's how I look at it because that is how it be my kneegrows.

Or is hardcore something neat like "gear for life" and "I work out in a gym where you can find eyeballs, jugular veins, corpses and detached hands still gripping the 150 lb dumbells, we mix chalk and blood in our protein shakes, for straps I'll rip out my partners lower intestines and use them shits like a mad man on cheque drops and interlukin 15."

Lumberg, you asked a great question, guess that is up to the user.

well technically for a supplement like 1-test or andro to be legal it has to be naturally occuring. So I classify all supplements as food.

Yeah, probably 90 something percent of all supplements are a waste of money, but some do work. Just because it's good for you doesn't mean it's good for someone else. Don't be so arrogant.

I dont know about sticking to food only man.

Some supplements definately have value. Ephedrine, Yohimbine, Creatine, and Protein powders/MRPs are just a few of them.
