If your trying to lean up, can you take creatine while your taking e/c/a and protein shakes? or do creatine cancel out the effects of e/c/a?

If you're cutting I would not take creatine
Keep your creatine for your next bulking session and take your ECA stack for cutting (along with diet and cardio)

I didn't say creatine was counter-productive for cutting...

just that there are better supplements/drugs (clen, T3, DNP, Ephedrine+caffeine,.....) for weight loss
creatine has no known synergic effect on fat loss (none that I know anyway)
So I would advise to keep creatine for bulking (when it has proven its effects)

Why take creatine (we don't still know its long term effects for sure) for hypothetic (or null) effect - as far as weight loss - ?

So then how do you feel about the idea that creatine would help to maintain muscle during a cutting period? I think there's probably some merit to that, assuming you don't mind the extra water weight.

yes it could help

but L-Glutamine and/or BCAAs have more effective anti-catabolic effects

and if you want to lose fat w/o losing too much LBM, clenbuterol/salbutamol would be more apropriate

ive always tried to figure this out to by using creatine to aid in preserving strength and muscle, would there be any hydration problems caused with creatine causing water retention and e/c/a acting as a diuretic sort of?

Good point. I hadn't thought of that. Maybe the diuretic effects of an eca would serve to balance out the retention of creatine. However, that might just be an aesthetic effect. You don't want water going straight through you while on creatine. That, as I shift into crinkled country singer mode, is a one-way ticket to cramp city.
