kid problems.
not mine, mine are angels. not needto and angels, just angels.
anyway.
my neighbor called me last night and said she was in a bind- she had to work and "forgot" that there's no more school and she had nobody to watch her 10 year old until 10:30 in the morning, so could my boys keep an eye on him. i told her that they would most likely still be sleeping until that time and I knew they wouldn't be reliable to watch her son that early.
so she asked if my daughter could (she's 11, but light years more mature than he is).
I said ok, reluctantly. then i called her back and said to please make sure her 16 year old daughter knows to TAKE HIM HOME when she comes to get him at 10:30am and that even though SHE (a total sweetheart of a girl and very mature) was welcome anytime, i couldn't have the "kids" (meaning: her son) in my house when i'm not here. (just like the fact that she doesn't want him in her OWN house when she's not there, because he's a terror).
I come home today to find that he did leave with his sister at 10:30am, then came back with her from noon until 3pm. in that time, he ate cereal at my table and left the bowl there for the cat to lick and knock off the counter, spilled iced tea EVERYWHERE, and walked mud up the stairs (why he had to go upstairs, i don't know).
i know i have to call my neighbor and tell her again that i can not have her son over when i'm not here, but i'm annoyed and know i'm going to sound bitchy.
tell me what to say so i can rehearse it.
