Tell them to eat right and train hard, it's as simple as that!

iv'e been in gyms for like 30 yrs and Iv'e heard them all hundreds of times, I the classic is the guy who comes in totally out of shape and says "i dont want to get too big" I say your in no danger, dont worry. I try to look at people with compassion now, and put myself in their place like if i were getting into something new I would probobly sound or look stupid too. the kicker for me is when you try to help someone and they become indignant, you just have to laugh:)

once I hit 30 I just decided to stay in shape there isnt any point in trying to be big
My gains come a lot easier now than when I was 20-25

You must be on a huge dose of roids to be able to stay looking like that
(this is in no way meant to be offensive to my gear using comrades) but I have never used gear just eat right and know how my anatomy works plus the workouts every week and the maticulous detail to my diet for 12 years now

You can do just as much for your legs with leg extensions as squats

Hahahha....who had the nerve to tell you that? That is ridiculous. I've actually considered doing only squats for my leg workout becuase of their effectiveness as compared to extensions/curls.
 
as a kid i hear this one a lot...

i dont need to train legs, i play sports, they are already so strong...[

so do how much can you squat??

squatting is bad for you, i dont belive in it
