Statements/Questions I never want to hear in the gym EVER again.

1) Were you big before you started lifting??

I'm not big now so I wasnt before.

2) Do you cycle (pause for thought) creatine and all that stuff?

Uh no :)

3) Some guy slowly sidles up to me "you cycle right bro?"...

Me: No I only do swimming for cardio.

4) Hey look thats guys got cotton wool falling outta his shorts.....

5) I used to be alot stronger a couple of years ago but I hurt my (insert bodypart) whilst lifting half a house for reps.

6) I know somebody who lifts more than you......

Really? Half the world could prob lift more than me.....
 
Don't you find all that muscle makes you tight and slows you down.

I then proceed to drop into the splits, jump back up and open up on them with a 12 strike combination in 2 seconds flat.
 
I like the old stand by - especially now that school is back in session and some of the little ones are back trying to impress the girls in the cardio room...

Bench-Master 500: feet thrashing, red face, grunting
Spotter 450: front rowing like a sumbitch

"I'd like to lose fat and gain some serious muscle. Could you tell me how to do that?" -- If I knew that, I'd be a gazillionheir...

"You know, going that low when you squat will hurt your knees." -- Hasn't hurt me yet pal. Your knees must be in GREAT shape as small as your quads are.

"You should try using cell-tech!" -- Is that how you got so big?

Okay, here's one you don't hear in the gym but when somebody finds out you train on a regular basis, they typically say something like...

Yeah, I need to go back in the gym and get in shape again.

Back!?!? You never WERE in shape you slothy bastard. Jeeeez...
