Starving on GEAR...

ANyone else wake up at midnight STARVING??? I have a incredible solid 8 meal diet plan, but I swear I eat my final prebed meal ON MY PILLOW and I am still ravishing about midnight....so I go and grab a chicken breast or some sort of protein and go back to bed......I can only assume this is benefitial since I am not waking on purpose, plus its always a clean protein source.....thank god I dont keep twinkies or ice cream in the house!!

Anyone else?
 
I drink a shake before I go to bed and that helps with my hunger. My problem in the evening while on cycle is that I am chugging 2 gallons per day and after 4 hours of sleep I always have to get up to piss - even when I cut back on drinking water in the evening.
 
hell yeah!! the only time my diet gets fucked up while on gear is at night. i wake up starving like a beast and go to town on things like chicken, if it's made, NUTS, sometimes alittle PB or sugar free jello. night time is a bitch for me. not as bad though as when i smoke a fat blunt of some nice shit.... now that's munchies!!! i can devour anything at lightning speed when i'm under the spell! at least we don't wake up and eat sugary shit and climb back into bed. i guess it's ok to have nuts, chicken or alittle PB if u really "need" it.
 
I wake up to piss and I am always have to eat something when I do. Problem is that I drink a glass of water and have to piss again in a few hours - I rarely sleep more than 3 hours at a time.

a protein shake bedside in insulated cup
wake to pee - drink shake
i did that on cycle and it worked great
 
eggs and milk w/ oats while bulking. while recomping, i'll reduce the milk drastically and eat more eggs. i can eat this stuff real fast and it ensures i prevent hunger.
 
I would not suggest eating carbs at midnight! I would leave the oats out until morning when you needed them. Thats just me.

to each his own - without the oats i'll be starving within 2 hrs... i really need to feed the machine :(

4 hours.... try getting up every 1.5 to 2 hours. It sucks bad to feel like you haven't slept.

actually i have done some beef sandwiches and milk in the past... so that is an option. beef/chicken on it's own will give me acidity so i gotta throw in the carb stuff too - no other choice.

dude me tooo...i mix a protein shake and leave it in my fridge and when i get up to piss around 2 in the morning i pound it...that usually satisfy's me till the morning...i hope all this peeing in the middle of the night doesnt mean my prostate is enlarged...
 
I usually have a wedge of cheese before sleep. When I'm out of cheese, I'll go for a whey and powdered egg-white with milk drink. Either of these usually sees me through the night.

If tried protein bars, they mostly but not quite work, just as they're almost but not quite a substitute for real food. I see them more as a candy bar than as a meal. They lack the satisfaction element.
 
What about during the day?
Even on EQ, test etc I dont feel that much hungry. I force myself to eat every 2hrs and I dont let myself get hungry...what Im trying to say is that I dont wait till I get hungry to eat. I eat during the day 3 solid meals and 3 protein/malto shake. I try to alternate 1 solid food and 1 shake. During the night when I home relaxed I feel very hyngry and what I usually do is I eat some almonds and before going to bed I mix casei protein with micellar casei + 1 tbls PB with some splenda and Im ready to sleep. Of course I wake up in the middle of the night.
Im using GH for 5 months and its incredible that even in the middle of the night I eat coconut pie, icecream etc and I never been so lean in my life!
