Squats- How much

I just really started getting into squats (i know, iwas an idiot for taking so long) and it seems that no one in my gym really cares about their legs, so I have no basis as to what weight to squat is heavy, light, etc..
So, I was wondering what everyone weighs, and what they squat.

Myself- 170- 245- last set. Good? Bad?
 
Don't worry so much about what everyone else does, just push yourself. Factors such as what you weigh, how long you have been training, practice in the lift (free weight exercises such as the Squat have a big neurological learrning component to them), individual structure and leverages, and neuromuscular efficiency all determine how good you will be at any lift.
Having said all that, Good job so far.
I am currently doing about 500 lbs for 10 or so reps at a bodyweight of 245 lbs at a height of 6'3" (shorter people are usuallly better squatters). I have been training over 15 years though. My best was 615 for 4 at a bodyweight of 262.
 
thanks heavy duty guy. also, i put 25lbs. weights under my heals, to take pressure off my knees. do you recommend this?
 
If your gym is like mine you can squat whatever you want because nobody else ever does 'em!
 
always to parallel and likehe says,don't put anything under your heels.concenrate on form ,but you should always be challenging yourself every workout with more weight.go up 5 lbs a week...it adds up quick,with good form ofcourse!!!

I just turned 17, I weigh about 198 now. I do 225 for 6 at parallel. I am pretty proud of that, I know its not awesome but from where I started out its great.
