Squat Problem (hamstring imbalance)

Instead of leg curls on a machine I would choose Band Leg Curls. Band Leg Curls allow you to work to either side as well as straight up and down. And you can do them several times a week to bring your hamstring up.

Of course if you have access to Glut Ham Raise...I would increase the volume of those as well....

thanks for the suggestions everyone

arioch- pulls on 1 leg..interestitng... and i think it was the semitendinosus up where it attaches by the glutes.

Screwball- i was assuming it was a hamstring weakness because when i came back from my hamstring injury that is when the imbalance was most present, i would transer more weight onto my right leg. I think the reason i look so quick out of the hole is cause of the suit and knee wraps (they make me alot stronger than i actually am :) like 40-50lbs)
But hopefully you are right and it is not an imbalance, just slow muscle firing which could be fixed easier.

Hannibal- I will probably do the band curls, since they are the one and only things i can do for hamstrings at my house.

WE'RE IN THE SAME BOAT!!! :(

i squatted tonight in my boxers because my shorts were too long and went over my knee. my training partner was behind me and said i was leaning to the right the whole time. they also said there is a huge difference between my right leg and my left leg.

i definately have a hamstring problem. whenever i squat i stall right at the box. i never make it up halfway and stall. it's always at the bottom. my glute ham raise order should be in tomorrow or the next day. hopefully that will help fix my problem.
