Source dosen't believe goods seized

I guess i've had very bad luck because two packs wihin the past month were seized in fucking Chicago.

I'm in the northeast. That's why I find it strange that a pack headed to me would arrive via Chicago?

Mailing services often subcontract their mail to airline carriers when they need extra help during heavy shipping periods. Sometimes a plane will land in Chicago even though the mail they are carrying was destined for somewhere else.

A lot of mail ends up in Manchester, New Hampshire before it is rerouted for it's original destination..

I wouldn't blame the source for not wanting to send anymore packs to you. BUT THE SOURCE STILL HAS AN OBLIGATION TO MAKE GOOD ON A DEAL. He should refund you your money. He never should have accepted your money if he wasn't willing to do whatever he has to do to make the deal right.

To me this is a poor source.

Most good sources tell you their resend policy at the time of ordering, I see more and more that will only resend 1/2 of the original order and some will not resend at all. Don't forget that customs keeps a record of all seizures, they don't flag your addy in the sense that they search through the millions of packages going through all the ports of entry for your addy (some people actually believe they do this which is complete nonsense), but if too many seizures show up going to the same person they can take further action so I'd be carefull about having too many packages sent to an addy with a lot of seizures on record.

I forgot to mention that this individual indicated that he will reship 50% if a seizure occurs. I feel that he is basically ripping me off due to his response. If he previously said that he will reship 50% he should be obligated to offer some sort of compromise in terms of a resend/refund. If not, he is basically going against his word and is in the same class as scammers.

He sent it twice. If I had an order that got siezed twice... there is no way I'd ask for a third send.

Sofageorge, I should of made it more clear. After the first seizure he sent a resend which I recieved. This current seizure is not a resend it is the original order.

He sent two orders... your original and a resend... in my book that is an ethical source. If it got siezed twice... eat teh loss.

It's not ethical to ask him for a third package. At a certain point you have to assume some risk yourself.

International source are cheaper than domestic sources bacause of the risk of siezure.

If I order internationally... I don't expect a source to keep sending me packages till one arrives. What's the point of selling a product at lower prices if they have to keep resending packages.
