can anyone give me a heads up as something that can held with soreness after working out I stretch a ton but it seems not to help

it's lactid acid build up. strecthing is good. Are you taking creatine? and how long have you been truly consistently working out. some type of brief history.

Plenty of water and light aerobic activity a.k.a brisk paced walks for at least 30 minutes will do wonders for that soreness. Also, stretching out PRIOR to working out is not so good of an idea. You don't want to push a muscle that hard without giving it a proper warm up. Save the stretching for afterwards.

yes on creatine only stretch after workouts, Been working out for 1year coming off injury seem as if its always two days after each body part they seem to get real sore I drink min of a gallon af water a day

its called DOMS (delayed onset of muscular soreness) and lasts up to 96 hours at most, peaking between 48 and 72.

my thoughts are why doesnt it go away you wud think it wud get better over time and not always be sore after workouts usally i only got sore afer lifting after a long break

dynamic stretching = best before workout

static stretching = best after workout
