I did try and search but I can only get 5 results and they led me no where. Anyway I'm trying to finalize my diet needs for my cutting cycle and I'm currently planning to restrict my carbs to around 125-150grams a day. I plan to do a macronutrient ration of 45/35/20 protein/fats/carbs. I keep hearing about CKD and I need to know if this would be better for me. I'm going to use a 2-3 time a week HIIT cardio plan, and a new set of exercises for my 5x5 routine for the weights. Anyway I'm concerned mainly about carbs and having the proper energy for exercise on a carb restricted diet. Does CKD make up for this? Is it like 20 grams of carbs monday thru friday and then load carbs on saturday and sunday? My plan is to just stay all seven days a week at about 125 grams of carbs, and if my weight loss comes to a stop or slows, I'll start to restrict my carbs a little at a time to ensure steady fat loss. Is the CKD better at preserving lean mass? My big concern is maintaining my lean mass above 200 pounds, any other weight can go.
