Some Ladies On The Crum Diet?

Rez,

Would you be able to provide me with your diet? I know the basics & basically feel I eat alright, but I feel I could really benefit from a detailed plan. Just to even get an idea for someone who wants to loose some weight & tone up.
I am going on holidays in 2 weeks, so I won't be able to start anything too serious until after I get back.
If you get a chance, I would really appreciate it!

Thanks,

Anne

Spats - when you cycle your carbs do you eliminate starchy ones on your non training days??? I am an admitted "wus girl" but when I do only 50g I feel like SHIT. Also, does cycleing them prevent the ungodly water retention that one sees when they go off of a regular ketogenic diet? I would assume that it would.

AAAAHHHHHHH - I was counting the carbs in the green stuff as well, no wonder. If I don't have to count the fibrous ones then 50 is doable. As for ketosis - you are just fine while you are in it, at least I was. Someday I'll tell ya a story about Temple, a pair of leather short, low carbing and coming off with beer and fast food - 'twas truly one of my finer moments and a definite learning experience. There were more than a few folks that had every right to scream "TOLD YA SO"

mod diet:

m1; aramanth, 2 scoops protein powder (preworkout)
m2; aramanth, 2 scoops protein powder , glutamine, optional 1/2 apple/pineappple(post workout)
m3; egg whites, aramanth or sweet potato, tuna or protein powder
m4; chicken, mixed green veg (optional brown rice)
m5; tuna,flax, green salad
m6; turkey or salmon, olive oil, green veg
7(if hungry) protein powder and flax or tuna/salmon

i was also carb rotating...so on weight training days ide add more carbs and drop them if i was only doing cardio.

i would have two meals containing protein powder maximum..tried to have real food instead.

i stopped having fruit for about 3 months..maybe more...really consentrating on have the 'best' quality carbs instead.

hope this helps

Most people doing TKD (targeted ketogenic diet) are never actually IN ketosis, and are doing nothing more than carb cycling.

Really? I can TKD and live in ketosis, but then my training volume is higher than most people's.

I have had a couple of atheltes who used a TKD and remained in ketosis as well.

Well, I have easy access to keto strips, a lab, etc. Job Perk.

Sometimes I forget that most people only train 3 - 4 times a week. Also, I have found that the more you practice keto dieting, the easier it is to drop back into ketosis. I have managed to achieve it six hours after an extensive carb up.

FWIW, I cannot diet at all without significantly reducing my carbs, and this aggravates pre-existing injuries after a while. So I am forced to spend very little time dieting. Nice to have a built in excuse like that, isn't it?
