But why were their first thoughts about "gays"? What led them to think that?

And besides theres no fuckin way thats even true. "For as long as I can remember" That is not scientific at all. I wanna see a study saying that this person was born gay and nothing is gonna change him. Then is there a "straight gene" as well? What about a "bisexual" gene? Why arent we finding these?

I think some people are born gay, but I don't think all gay people are born gay.

I didn't say genes were the be all end all of sexual preference determinants. Sexuality is a complicated thing, but just like I can't make an argument that homosexuality is 100% something you're born with or not (which I'm not trying to do, btw) I think it's ridiculous for Glad to argue that it's cause is purely environmental.

I bet if a psychologist got to talk to every gay person in the world, they would eventually find a reason why they are gay. Something happened, something triggered their emotions, some event happened.

How do they not? Because I'm pretty sure my sister and I had the same parents, lived in the same home, had to watch the same tv shows, play with the same toys, and in early childhood shared the same friends. I'm not saying they lead the exact same lives but unless one was moved elsewhere how can you not say they live in the same environment?

HAHAHAHA couldnt find it anywhere. There was links to autism and testosterone....but not a "gay" gene.

Yeah glad, you should post the study...but it doesn't matter. I'll post some too. You think we understand genes better than we do, not to say genes are the cause. There are physical abnormalities and disorders that can't be attributed to a specific gene yet either, but you wouldn't say those don't exist because of it.

And yeah, there are gay animals. You should've googled before you asked. Bonobos participate in gay sexual acts all the time. Females finger and lick eachother often, and they're genetically the closest animals to ourselves. But if you want to say that's just sex, not a relationship, then two male penguins in NYC recently coupled and were even given an unhatched penguin egg to raise, which they did. Are you going to tell me those penguins are gay because too many gay people in Central Park walked past them? lol Homosexuality is found in nature. Sorry to burst your bubble.
