do you think the clean is going up from better form or you are getting more powered? or a little bit of both? what do you think is the biggest factor for the new pr?
well form is definitely better, arms straighter in the inital explosion, that will help, but how much who knows.
But hey my hips/glutes are one inch bigger, and my thighs are 3/4 of an inch bigger since a month ago, so they must be generating more power

Back squat is up 50lbs, as is my front squat, so I'm definitely stronger in the leg drive phase. Traps are much larger as well.
I'm also using the stretch reflex better thanks to all the jump squats I've been using, one of the best leg/hip power exercises ever invented.
The Hang Powerclean is less subject to technique than the power clean, its more about raw explosion - bend down and then jump hard, and shrug the bar as hard as you can.
My jump has gone up about an inch at most, but when you factor in the 8lb bodyweight gain, that means a large increase in power.
I'm also a couple lbs fatter, so that doesn't help
