Feeling any better, girlie? It seems like a lot of people are going thru this cold/allergy thing right now. My eyes won't stop watering!

So your weight is actually lower and your not doing much cardio right now? Wow, that's great! Are you starting a bulking cycle too? Seems like a lot of the girls are since the weather is changing.

I'm still stuffed up, by WAY better than I was on Wed/Thurs. I think I had a combo of the flu/cold. I just take the benadryl to sleep through the night.

My weight was lower. I'm not sure where it is at right now - I'll weigh myself tomorrow am. I feel about 150lbs though...lol

Yes, I want to put on some muscle, but I'm not 'bulking' I don't compete, so I don't mind if it takes 2 years.....lol. I gained LBM on the Shadow program, so I'm going to stick with something similar.

Glad to hear you are feeling better!! Everyone around me is hacking... I just keep taking my vitamin C and drinking my green tea... Seems to be working so far!! Hope you had a good weekend..

So, I started taking Brazilian Ji Jitsu 3x's a week, and will be starting Muay Thai as well. BJJ is normally a 2 hour session, but I may do 1 hour of each class - depends on which one I prefer.

I am finding it hard to keep this updated every day between work & not getting home to late, so here is my schedule, I will post bi-weekly results.

Monday - BJJ
Tuesday - Chest/Tri's
Wednesday - BJJ
Thursday - Shoulders
Friday - BJJ
Saturday - Legs
Sunday - Back/Bi's

I'm going to follow this for the next 3 weeks, then change it up.

I have been screwing around with my diet & realized I need lot's of carbs on Ji Jitsu days. The girl I train with outweighs me by about 45lbs & I need energy!

I'm wondering if I should try a carb cycle with this schedule. I'm going to screw around with that too & see how I feel in terms of energy/overtraining.

I'm taking Brazilian Jujitsu (3x's a week) & Muay Thai (2x's a week), so I am using that for cardio. It's is freakin tuff!

Diet is good. I have been eating healthy, but carbs have increased. Lately I have a cashew addiction that needs to stop :rolleyes:

How about you? How's the training. Still plan on competing?

Cashew addiction... well that's better then my candy addiction :) It's gotten a little ridiculous the past two months. I've never craved sweets like this.
My carbs have increased also... It takes me 45 minutes to eat my breakfast (1.5C of DRY oatmeal = Aproximately 3C when made)
I still plan on competing. I am excited!! Training is going well.
I'll be doing a lot better March 11th when I graduate from school. Then I'll have my life back :) I was thinking about next fall starting this personal training program to become a trainer. It's a 6 month excelled program. I know you can get it online and take it at home... but I would rather actually have the hands on experience... So we'll see about that.

Bunny - I'm so glad your back!

OK, updates for me...

BJJ & Muay Thai are ok. I LOVE the classes, but 2/3 times my partner doesn't bother to show up. I was counting on this for cardio, but needless to say, I have change my mind...lol.

Yesterday I started back with the am HIIT. I was only lifting weights 2 times a week & boy have I been feeling horrible. Anyway, I'm still trying to make a schedule that allows me to fit it all in. So, right now I'm having some major 'blahs'.

I'll post my schedule as I figure it out. I HOPE my partner will start coming to class! To bad I didn't live around any of you fine ladies :)
 
You'll be fine.. It's frustrating trying to figure out what, when, and how. Once that is figured out though you won't be dealing with this again for awhile.
How are you doing on your food intake?
 
I was just eating healthy for the past month. I didn't measure or count anything, just made good choices. I had an entire cheat day on Saturday. Back on track on Sunday. Feeling good. Oh, I started counting & measuring again on Sunday.

I have another friend coming to Muay Thai with me tonight...can't wait.

My desire has increased 10 fold since I first brought it up weeks ago ...

Yeah since I figured out how to get in here from work, and everything seems to slower here at work around the holiday's and I have no tests at school the next week or so... It's nice to get back in here and talk to my girls and see how they are doing!!

Hey hunny :)

I miss you too!

We haven't trained since last Wednesday. Her boyfriens was in an atv accident. He was drinking & doing pop-a-wheelies, fell off & his friend that was with him ran him over. He has been in the ICU since. They were trying everything so he wouldn't have to have surgery & on Sat night he woke up freaked out & in pain. He pulled the Halo off his head & yanked his IV out. Now he is doing even worse & has to have surgery. He has 2 chipped bones in his spine, I'm not 100 sure wtf is up with his neck, but it's bad. He also has 3 broken ribs. Even worse is they did a blood test & know he was drinking. Not good.

I feel bad for her. It's sad.

My training is going well, but I wish I could do something for her. I drop her food at the hospital, but of course I'm not allowed to visit him or anything.
