Simple carbs after workout

I was told that it was a good idea to eat siple carbs after a workout. What do you guys usually eat? I need some ideas.

Yes!, simple carbs(sugars)are what you need after training. That's when you need to replenish your glycogen storage as fast as possible. This is the one time simple carbs(sugar) fit into a diet, any other time it will make you fat.

I add 8tbsp of Hershey's chocolate syrup to 2 scoops of Isopure(fast acting protein) van.with 16oz of water in a shaker=50g.pro, 100g.carbs, 0g.fat, 600cals.! Sometimes with 19g. of creatine.
Who needs cell-tech?
I love post-workout!

About an hour after the shake have a meal.

Yes,this is the time for simple carbs.I usually take in a shake immediately after training(35g protein,50-100g carbs).When dieting I drop the carbs.Usually a carb powder(malto dextrin)is what I add to agood whey protein powder.Also try to eat within the hour,to make the best of your nutrition window.
 
About an hour before I lift, I mix a shake with milk, protein powder, and a half cup of oats. I want the complex carbs to help power me through my workout.

As soon as I finish my last set, I consume a drink with 50 grams of dextrose with 10 grams of creatine and 15 grams of glutamine peptides mixed in. I use this to wash down 400 mg. of Alpha Lipoic Acid.

10-15 minutes later when I get home, I mix a shake with water, 30 grams of maltodextrin, and 60 grams of fast absorbing protein. After that, I am about as bloated as I can be. Sometimes I lie down, but then sometimes fluid starts creeping up my throat since gravity isn't holding it down.
 
Is Hershey's chocolate syrup as good as dextrose or maltadextrine post workout? I hope so cus I raterh eat the syrup.
