i currently eat at

6 am) 8 egg whites, oats
9 am) yam, chicken breast, veggies
12 pm) 1/4 cup brown rice, chicken breast, veggies
3 pm) protein bar, chicken breast
6 pm) chicken breast yam, veggies

** w/ oats I add 1 tbsp ANPB, and 1/4 cup no fat no salt cottage cheese

stats: 165 lb 6' 1" 25 yr old

I go to bed at 10-11pm , my question is should I be eating again at 9? My main goal I guess is to speed my metabolism while losing as much fat % as possible and putting on lean mass. Also what do you guys think my daily protein/carb/calories intake is about? Any thoughts? thx in advance.

First, get rid of the protein bar. Normally they are just candy (shakes are better, but real food is even better except for PWO). It probably isn't to eat additional protein at 3 if your chicken breasts is 130 grams +.

You should probably use some site like nutritiondata.com to work out your calories and ratios, which can't be determined with out knowing portion size.

As for your goals, good luck with trying to lose fat and gain muscle - but your unlikely to succeed so choose one.

if trying to cut, most people say don't eat late before bed (so no 9pm meal). I kinda don't see why this should matter if your calories are idea, so depending on what you think you may include a slow digesting protein without carbs just before bed.

I eat a couple spoonfuls of peanut butter before bed and if i wake up hungry i eat a few more spoonfuls and drink some water and that does it for me. My thinking is if your up and hungry then eat. A bodybuilder doesnt need to have a completley empty stomach and escpecially if you are hungry! Doesnt have to be a full meal just dont eat some garbage right before bed or wake up in the night and snack on some garbage and you should be fine.

I agree with Sim you will be unlikely to succeed if you are trying to get ripped and gain lots of muscle. Do one at a time. Winter time dont be afraid to put on a little extra fat when you are packing on the muscle thats what long clothes are for! Summertime its peal and reveal baby haha
