I think deep down they never become "cured". I believe at some point they realize that there actions were/are wrong, but the desire never goes away.

You care to explain this one HT? If you worked with this stuff on a day to day basis and saw the BS that goes on before we can get these sexual deviants off the streets, you might have a different perspective.

Having children disclose what some adult male or female did to them and then to taking the kid to the forensic docs to make your case is not for the faint of heart. The forensic work ups are pretty traumatic for children, and If you had to do this a few times, you might have a bit of "avenging angel" mentality. If by some stroke of bad luck this stuff were to strike a bit close to home-for example your daughter, son or neice, you might have a bit of an avenging angel mentality-- if not a vigilante justice mentality. Want to place a little bet on this should this unfortunate scenario ever occur?

If we as a society to not stand up for innocent children and protect them from these reprobates who will? If we dont protect children, we are a pretty spineless generation who deserves what we will reap from so doing.

It is a fact that is bourne out in the research again and again, in over 90 percent of the cases, by the time a sex offender, rapist, or pedophile has been caught, they have had multiple victims where either the incident/sex crime was not reported or that individual (the alleged perpetrator) was not connected with the particular sex crime.

i see plenty. not gonna argue. don't see much "forensic" shit over here in Detroit & the surrounding burbs. can't afford that. fingers get pointed, lawyers get hired and you win some & lose some. keep an eye on your kids & this shit won't happen....
