another subject where I'm an expert!
I'm one of the unlucky motherfuckers who has had several bouts with urinary tract/prostate infections (prostatitis). They suck majorly and yes, you do feel like you have to pee even right after peeing at times. Plus in some cases, if your prostate is infected, your urinary output will be a trickle... Let me tell you it hurst like a fuck to have to pee and have it take like 10 minutes to empty your bladder (and even after you still feel the urge). Awful....
But there is hope!! The drug of choice for this (UTI/Prostatitis) is Cipro, yup, the same anti-anthrax antibiotic. For a first time case, you'll probably have to take 500mg twice a day (morning & night) for a week or two to get over it. If it is recurrent (like mine) you get the 28 day treatment! Fun huh?!
Couple of related points:
Guys who are into heavy lifting, especially squats, often suffer from prostatitis and this is believe to be due to the pressure exerted on it during such lifts. This has triggered it in my case a few times I believe. A day or two after a major leg day, my prostate flares up and no more pee-pee.
Prostate damage typically in the form of Benign Prostate Hyperplasia (BPH) from AAS use can happen anytime you use drugs that result can covert to DHT via 5-alpha-reductase. So Dbol, test, winny (a DHT derivative), and a bunch more can affect the prostate. So during a cycle of such drugs it's a good idea to use a DHT blocker such as Proscar/Propecia to prevent it (Be forewarned it can reduce ejaculate output - most of which is prostate fluid). For prostate health the max dosage recommended would be 5mg ED, but that can be scaled back depending on dosage.
BTW - as an older guy I always use Proscar whether or not I'm on a cycle to save my hair and my prostate. I've been on it for 2.5 years and have had no issues.
