In South Africa, I don't really think you can hide AIDS. Most of those kids have probably allready lost a parent or relative to it.

It's stupid NOT to teach them about AIDS and how to avoid it.

There was a time where I would have agreed with you, but it is different now. There are kids out there who are dieing from this horrible disease, and they are not even getting the compassion that people show their pets. There are kids who don't have any friends because parents are afraid to have their kids around them. They don't know what it's like to have a buddy, they just know loneliness of their house. If they are lucky they have brothers or sisters to play with, if not, they have only solitude.


It is bad enough for an adult to suffer alone, imagine how a child would deal with it. He doesn't understand why they are afraid of him.

I read that tby the year 2010, 35 MILLION children in Africa will have lost a parent to AIDS. Forget about worrying on where to discuss it... It needs to addressed everywhere.
