And why exactly is this impossible? Why would he have to tp out at over 700 lbs? High rep is a different thing altogether folks.
Couple of examples:
I know folks who can do over 1000 push-ups, but their bench is only 285 max, if that.
I have been able to accomplish several hundred push-ups in one go, without ever going over a 335 max bench.
I can do 35-40 strict pull ups right now, today. How much should I be able to add for a pull-up max weight for one rep?
The fact is that 500 is not heavy for this guy, that's all.
I can do 135 for 40's, easily, but I can't get 50. I can do 225 for 13-14, but I can't get 315 up once.
How would you explain this?
When I am on tren or winny I can get 225 for 16,17 (even 18 once) but cannot get 315 up more than once without a spot.
There is a fitness model who can squat 225 for 200 reps, and he is not big at all.
There's just a few examples.
I have no trouble at all believing this person's claim. 500 is very benchable for 10 by a lot of strongmen. So this guy got 37 once. I believe it. Why would a person make such a claim in a way that is guaranteed to have him called out on it if it would kill his reputation?
Just because you can't do it doesn't mean it isn't doable.
