Hi Girls! I'm trying to get settled in. It's hard when I have to work all day, gym time, cooking time and that leaves me about an hour a day to get "house stuff" done. I'm getting impatient and don't like looking at the place when it's a mess.

Oh, and my daughter hasn't helped much at all - unless, of course, it pertains to HER. She owes me about 2K and hasn't bothered to pay a dime back. I'm really not happy with her at all. She only sees the fact that she'll be off probation soon and she's going to go shack up with her bf. I guess I'll be left "holding the bag" while she's off skipping in the sunset!

I want to be here full time again too - I'm feeling very unsettled and annoyed today. :(

Yup, my sister is like that, she does 60 minutes of cardio everyday and sometimes more. I asked her about weights, she hates them but knows they would help her running but does them maybe once a week and she is a personal trainer! But to her credit she does look good.

An hour is a lot of sweat. I'm thankful our gym has separate weight and cardio room. I tell you I have to walk through the cardio room to get to the locker room plugging my nose the whole way! The smell in there is sooo bad! Notonly that you have old guys that don't wash their gym clothes and smell like stinking mildew!

That makes me laugh, totally on a different subject, but it reminded me of going to my son's school yesterday. You know that smell of kids winter clothes that haven't been washed in awhile smell. the whole school smelled like that!

Then you lover the weight(bending elbows) almost to your forehead....like you are about slam your freaking head with the weight....I took a shot at explaining this one....sorry if I suck at it. oh i do those but we call them french dips, cause they are backwards. :artist: I am having a lot of problems with those ones but when I complete them I feel awesome! I told my husband not to be surprized if I have a big bruise on my head when I come home from the gym :)

My first day at the gym and everybody new it was...
I was trying to lift one of the cables up and smacked my head on the machine.....
trying to do behind head tricep things and fell backwards. I was everybodys entertainment for the day! I haven't had this many bruises since I was a kid, looks really hot! :)
Everytime I am lifting and somebody walks past me I count 140!

Oh MAN!!! I HATE it when I do stuff like that! Getting in and out of some equipment is hard when your fatigued too....I sometimes "trip" into the leg press machine!! lol

Going to Olive Garden tonight for dinner with family and her bf. I bought a cake yesterday at Kroger - white cake w/whipped cream icing. We'll be having that at the restaurant.

OMG! I was just done with my 2:30 Meal and looked up at the top of the kitchen cabinets (they're white). I just had to give them a good cleaning. I knew the lady who lived here liked to cook with bacon grease, but it was disgusting! On the INSIDE of the cabinet doors, the grease had ran down and you could see the drips. It RUINED my Magic Eraser there was so much. It turned sticky and I couldn't use it anymore. SOOOOO DISGUSTING!!!! She must have weighed 300 lbs with all the gunk that came off the cabinets. It was layers of grease that had accumulated over time.

You beat me, I am 31 and I have an 11,10,4 and 2 year old and I thought I was old, hee hee. The fun just begins for you. As for the cabinets, yum yum. You must want to take a shower just cleaning the grease!

Although I started early (17), it's nice to be able to NOT have to be responsible for another human being once again. I'll ALWAYS be worried about her, but I feel a slight sense of relief.

OMG! I was just done with my 2:30 Meal and looked up at the top of the kitchen cabinets (they're white). I just had to give them a good cleaning. I knew the lady who lived here liked to cook with bacon grease, but it was disgusting! On the INSIDE of the cabinet doors, the grease had ran down and you could see the drips. It RUINED my Magic Eraser there was so much. It turned sticky and I couldn't use it anymore. SOOOOO DISGUSTING!!!! She must have weighed 300 lbs with all the gunk that came off the cabinets. It was layers of grease that had accumulated over time.


Great, thanks for that. :evil: Having a nice little fantasy about breadsticks with alfredo dipping sauce and you go and spoil it with the grease lady. Cheers then, SG.......... j/k :heart:

Question - how on earth do you do HIIT followed by legs? [bowing down to the iron lady!!] I wouldn't be able to walk, let alone breathe! LOL

I just got home from my daughters b-day dinner and they have gotten my Raw Energy (natural stimulant) bottle out of my bag and eaten only God knows how many of them. All I have to say is that they better freakin' enjoy it. I'm not taking them to the vet! That may sound cruel, but I'm so pissed right now, I don't care!!!!!!!!!! Anyone want a couple of dogs??!?!?!?! I just want a CAT! :mad:

P.S. Don't leave ANY supps where the 4 leggers can get to them. They've NEVER bothered my supps before, I don't know why they started now. :(

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, Bruschetta & Calamari to start....Seafood Alfredo.......1 piece of birthday cake to finish......and 2 glasses Chard. I sent my leftover Alfredo home with my parents, and made my daughter take the b-day cake to the bf's house.

Big pat on the head for me!!!! I want that food SOOOO bad right now!!! lol

Well, its a couple of hours later and they both seem to be fine....although one seems a little paranoid!!!! Serves him right!!! Stinker! I think we're all good. Gave them EXTRA water just incase they got cotton mouth. :rolleyes:

OMG, well I'm glad they are ok. My dog Princess use to do that kind of stuff all the time,she hated me leaving her alone. So I went out and bought a big cage and crate trained her and now she's awesome. Now I'm using it for my other dog. LOL

These two were both crate trained too. I have them closed off in the kitchen/dining area with a 10 foot babygate so they don't have free roam of the house. They'd be lounging on the furniture - which is a BIG no-no (unless you're a cat!). I think one of them dragged the bottle out of my bag and the other decided to have a little taste. They're fine, but I'm still mad at them. Grrrrrrr

Well, she's still on probation, but depending on what the Judge says, she may or may not be released soon. We'll have to see about that. I'm giving her A LOT more freedom these days though. It's all on her now.

Would have made me mad too. I remember one time this was right before I got the crate. I came home and Princess had learned how to open the pantry doors,she got out the cereal,sugar,pasta and anything else she could reach and tore it open and drug it all over the place. I had food in my sofa and chairs all over my new carpet as well as the kitchen. It was awful. I walked in and she ran and hid, I went out the next day and bought it. LOL

I had an employee who had a Boxer. This Boxer was freakin' WHODINI!!!!! The dog could open drawers, cabinets, the fridge...and don't ask she did it, but she opened 2 bottles of Merlot and was quite happy when Liz got home. We still haven't figured out how she opened those bottles. They hadn't been opened yet.

Then I proceeded to the crumbs in a potato chip bag (they're gone now), and after that I decided to eat a few saltine crackers (low sodium). BIG SIGH......I'm not real happy with myself for all that......I got lucky and it didn't screw up my macros, but it did put my calories over.

Carbs are my BIG weakness - way more than sweets. If I'm sick, bored or - after leg day....I can't have them around. :(

That is exactly like me, they have to hide the pasta! No chips are allowed in our house at anytime because of that, if we treat the kids they get the small individual bags cause I will dive into the large ones!

I've had a box of ice cream sandwiches (Breyer's Carb Smart) in my freezer for a week now and I haven't even opened the box! Put a bag of chips in the pantry and it's all over!!!! I'm right there with ya'! :lmao:

I have for that are starting to turn BLACK because I can't bring myself to eat one! Oh well, I just won't buy them anymore. Granny Smith's are a different story :p

Thank goodness I have 4 mouths to feed all that food to :Chef: . I am really good about McD's cause I know it will make me sick to eat it. I hate ice cream so that one is easy for me. As for banana's yuck, unless I crave a peanut butter and banana sandwich, those are yummy!!!!!!

This AM, as I was leaving the gym, the girl at the desk was outside cleaning the windows and screamed to her friend, "Man, some McDonald's breakfast sure would be nice right now!" :rolleyes: I don't know what it is...the smell of fries in hot grease. :p

ABSOLUTELY! When I first started, I had a THING about crunchy foods... it worked perfectly and helped the transition from triscuits to a healthier choice, unless I kinda got rid of it altogether & opted for a better carb source all together :)
