ok, I'll take the pics Friday morning and post them when I get here. I think I'm only going to do this for another month or so. I've got to cut up for Treil's show!!!

Exactly Numbers!!! I'm taking my two's with me to Vegas and giving them to my friend there. I don't ever want to fit back into those things!
I can get them up to just above my knees and that's it.

I don't ever want to fit back in 2's again - but 4's are my comfort zone. Going above that makes me freak out a little bit. I know, I know.....I really need to get over this!

I have a pair of 6's from abercrombie (from High School I'm sure) that are easily 8's or 10's ... but say 6

I bought this gene skirt from Old Navy that said 2 and I was NOT a 2, but it fit... (i've never worn it, but it's in the closet)

I can fit in the 28/34 from Guess & Seven Jean I bought, but tried on that size in others and the seams were splitting (speaking past tense).

The brand, cut and whomever is manufacturing/sewing the clothing items put that # on there as a 'guide' ... You are above this SG.

It is very hard to remove yourself from the sizes on the clothes you love or love to fit into ...

We all have those days where we feel bloated, FAT, pissy, uncomfortable, like a lard ass, when we know we're not ... and think "dammit STFU & let me feel sorry for myself" ... :D But that doesn't mean I won't call you out on it and tell you others would kill to look as good as you do ... I would expect the same from you when it's my day to be a brat ... :bigkiss:

Maybe they are mislabeled?
Have to tried upping the carb content to see if it takes?

It's the sugar-free foods and that kind of thing. Fitday says one of my foods should have 130 calories and it actually has only 35....that kind of thing.
 
This brings up an interesting point, NOT at all directed at you SG...

The thing about fit day, when it does your percentages, it puts fiber carb in as carbs. Since carbs are basically either energy or fiber, and "non-impact carbs" are labeled as carbs that you can’t metabolize or use "so they don’t count", Fit day COUNTS them when they show the pie chart ... including the carbs that don't belong there so to speak.

If you are one who 'doesn't count' those carbs, you macros will be off, but it's close enough when it comes to simply tracking what's going into a persons mouth.

I subtract fiber and sugar alcohols from the carb count. But even when I tried to add them back in....still didn't work.

1.5 Pc WW toast w/jam (3 tsp, full sugar kind)
1 LARGE OJ - all that wine made me thursty for it - Ahhhhh, hit the spot!

The rest of the day I layed around piecing on junk again - but tried to keep it in "some" kind of order. No more feeding frenzy's!

I posted this on the "girl talk" forum, but I felt like I should post it here too. I started looking for a condo or villa today due to the issue - I'm such a dipshit for dealing with it for so long!

I've been told recently that the only reason I post pics on EF is to get attention from men. I've also been told that I'm crazy for talking to a bunch of people I don't know on the internet. There is more...much, much more, but then I would be writing a book!

I've been in this relationship for almost 7 years now and I'm finally sick and tired of constantly being personally attacked due to someone elses insecurity.

I don't deal with people's shit on a day to day basis, but for some reason, I kept holding on to this. I guess I thought we could get past it, but all I've gotten was put down and held back. Girls, if you EVER encounter this kind of man....RUN and NEVER, EVER, EVER LOOK BACK!!!!!!!!!! They will not overcome it!

Been there...just remember that YOU are the one who needs to be HAPPY..worry about your self and NO ONE else.....be selfish in a way, and if the person you are with is not fulfilling your needs, there is many many men who will love to. Im a young girl so I cant give you as good advice as someone with more experience, but I do know the only advice my mom gave me is to : "never marry the WRONG man".

Stay strong and stick to your guns. You have a great body and are a really helpful sweet girl ;)

I guess I'll be ther first one to be mad about this. You have absolutely got to be kidding me. Attention from men? I officially just "stalked" you by pulling up your last 500 posts. 99% are in the Women's area, whether it is here or in Girl Talk. 1% was in the Diet & Bodybuilding area. Nothing flirtatious. Nothing suggestive. Your pics in your Gallery area are very obviously posted with the intent of showing progress...not looking like an attention-whore.

The last time you posted pics in your thread, you got a response from ONE man: me. When you posted in the Diet & Bodybuilding thread for the contest, a whopping 2 guys commented and said you look great. So..."the only reason you post is to get attention from men."??? HARDLY. Ridiculous...

As far as "crazy for talking to a bunch of people you don't know on the internet", I don't even know where to begin. Welcome to the 21st century, a place where you can find common ground and like-minded individuals that have priceless (sometimes literally) information that can actually better one's life, lifestyle, philosophy, etc...all with the click of a mouse and a willingness to learn and ask questions. In my opinion, people that choose NOT to use this resource are the "crazy" ones. It's there, it's freaking safe, and it's free. I guess I consider it "wise" - not crazy.

What pisses me off even more is that IP and I have proof of your kindness and generosity. For those that don't know, SG sent a care package to us that included nut butters, pistachios, almonds, cashews, etc. Then, to sweeten the pot even more, she actually sent some of the products that she normally sells at her BUSINESS to us! And I'm not talking about just a few samples, either. Then she took her time to box it up, fill out all the dang forms that must be used to ship here, and paid for shipping. It wasn't cheap. SG, I'm sure you have your faults, as we all do, but something tells me that you are probably a treasure. Nelms - thank you so much. I guess because I've known him for so long and I understand WHY he says stupid shit, that's why I've stayed with him. I have constantly put my own feelings aside while making excuses as to why he acts the way he does. I've known that was wrong of me for years now, but I always just "felt bad" for him when I would leave.

He's now telling me he'll do anything to fix the situation, counseling or whatever (which we've done in the past and look how well it worked). But I've been down this road with him about 7 times. It just doesn't get better and I'm left mentally exhausted.

When I found this website, it was a turning point for me. I found people who I could relate to who found some value in my accomplishments. That's all I wanted, just to feel like my life is worth something to someone - including myself. Everytime I come to work, I feel great knowing I've got a good thing here. I'm always confident. Everytime I go home, I'm on the defense explaining why I did this or how I felt I needed to do that. It's just not worth it. I've lost myself.

I'm a strong woman - that's why he liked me to begin with....but he also doesn't like me because of it and I'm being held down when I should be enouraged to do what makes me happy. In a relationship, if your partner is NOT enouraging and supportive, there's a problem.

I'm putting myself out there, but if I can help one person with my misery - that makes it worth it to me. I don't wish this crap on anyone. I'm totally uprooting my household. It's a HUGE inconvenience - and scary....but I have one goal in sight and nothing's going to stop me now. ....

He's scared of losing you and he should feel that way by the way he treats you. From what you said he constantly is talking you down, lowering your self-esteem to make you feel like a piece of crap. I told them I need immediate occupancy - like yesterday! She called me and said "I hear your hair's on fire" - lol - I said YES, AND I'M RUNNING DOWN THE STREET! Need to hurry! lol

I'm joining a gym today. As soon as my daughter gets out of the tanning bed I'm leaving to go over there.

You are not alone about the issues you have brought up ... many of us probably have experienced something similar in the past... but about the EF thing ...

How can you trust people you've never met? never seen? never even spoke to on the phone? How can you call these people your friends? How do you know they aren't lying? That's not really the same girl before & after ... So were you on EF all day again??

You're nuts ... You trust too easily ... Get off the computer ...

blah blah blah, friends, family, significant others ... can jump to conclusions, assume things, think they 'know' what's going on ... I can't really explain what the friendships I've formed on here mean to my life or why I choose to spend countless hours on here answering anything & everything I can ... which makes it extremely difficult trying to explain anything of the like to my loved ones... so I just don't anymore. Mr B finally understands but at first he was being overprotective & concerned. Now at least he 'gets' it ... but does want his time as well, when I often find myself drawn to EF to check on my girls, posts, questions etc. For me, that part is never easy to explain or is it easily accepted once it's out there.

Good for you girl, the gym has been a lifesaver for me. You can work out so many frustrations there.

It's hard ,as one strong woman to another dealing with an insecure man,a time comes when we must be who we are meant to be and stop holding up those that can't or won't have our backs! Girl Power my sister!! ;)
 
Oh, SG I have an idea of what you're going through. I know I made a comment sometime back about no support being the reason I got divorced, and while I meant to be facetious it was the honest truth!

It takes an extremely strong woman to walk away after 7 years and I think that sums you up. You have such amazing strength, especially considering the fact that you never let on about any of this. I wish I could do something/anything for you but am just too far away. :(

You know we're here for you anytime you need us. I was just thinking today what an awesome group of girls this is and how happy I am to be a part of this board even though I've never meant any of you face to face. Sometimes, you can't ask for better friends than what you find here and I look forward to stopping in and also getting people's opinions on everything, fitness-related or not.

Well, just got my membership at the gym. I wanted to train today, but it was packed and I didn't feel like looking like a newbie in the middle of a crowd. I'll start tomorrow when it's less busy. All brand new Hammer Strength & TONS of cardio equipment. As a member I get discounts at the Yoga place accross the street. They have yoga classes (obviously) and pilates too. I guess there is also a massage therapist there too! Oh, you KNOW I'm all about that with the stress right now. My neck is STILL giving me problems.

I want to train tonight here at home, but I'm too excited to use all the equipment at the gym, so I think I'll just save it!!! That's bad, but what's one more day? My diet is under in calories today, so I'm good there.

Thanks, ladies....and Nelms for all your kind words! Mr. S & I have agreed to be nice to eachother until I can move, which will be as soon as possible. It's a bad situation when you love each other, but just can't get along long enough for things to be TRULY good.

Get to the massage therapist, and yoga studio as much as possible! It will help keep the stress at bay (along with weights), and will also help with flushing some of the emotional problems going on. More then likely you are holding your stress in your neck.

My DO has me doing stretches for it. She says the little muscles along the sides of my spine all the way at the top are tight and inflamed. I was taking meds to sleep - because it was too painful to move, an anti-inflamatory (which helped the most), and a muscle relaxer (which didn't help at all so I just quit taking it). All out of meds and refuse to get more. So stretching and massage it is!

Just got back from my first workout at the new gym. I REALLY missed it! Had a GREAT workout and since I was off 3 days, I'm going back again this afternoon to hit legs! :)

Yeah I'm suprised you are not getting headaches then also. you can reciprocal heat and ice your neck (15-20 minutes each). Also if you can't get to the therapist you can do some massaging on your own neck.
Congrats on your first work-out and going back for seconds :)

I'm OK, Girls!! Thank you for checking up on me! :heart:

I'm getting busy here at the studio with spring break coming up and then had to go train and then had to go look at a couple condo's. I stayed out at my dads last night so I was visiting with family. By the time I sat down to check in it was 9:00 last night and my eyes just didn't want to focus on the screen. So I gave up and we watched RedEye (just ok, btw). Didn't have a good dinner before I went to bed (grape tomatoes, ff potato chips and a couple pretzels) :rolleyes: I need to train family to always keep protein around for me!!! lol

After training chest and abs yesterday morning, I'm SORE!!!! From doing flies (which I always do), I'm sore all the way down into my bi's! My upper and lower abs are SCREAMING!!!!! YESSSSSSSSS!!!!! I think you work a little harder when you're around strangers. I felt like I was training hard at home, but training in public takes it to a higher level. (the girls are staring at me already! snicker, snicker)

Didn't like any of the condo's yesterday. Well, I liked one, but a renter had lived in it last and it showed. Going to look at another one today - I think it's the one. It's a one owner (older woman) condo who really took pride in her home, so I'm pretty sure it'll meet my standards.
