Well, I took 3 RE's this morning and I could definitely take a nap right now!! I just don't think these herbals can get me where I want to be. Have a headache too, I want to eat junk right now due to feeling icky.

Sorry to hear that. If I could afford to do it, I would come there personally and be your "motivation/soundingboard/noshittakingtrainer" to sub for the stims for two whole weeks so you can give your body a break from ALL stims period. It would be hard to do it alone, been there, withdrawl is not fun.

I want you to try T-Rex first though ... JUST so see how you react to it, if at all.

I sub'd Teryaki Rice for junk. I really still want some yogurt (sweet). But I should hold off on the food for now. Thanks for the pep talk, Bunny! lol I'll think of you tonight when I'm draggin' ass and don't want to train....ez night though, I only have chest and abs to do, so I'll get thru it.

LOL Nice junk - I didn't know that about the EC. That's AWESOME! You'll get over it, always for me, the 1st 2 weeks that was the hardest to quit/break pretty much anything :)

I'll be REAL honest here, it's gonna' take A LOT to get me off those things for good. Mr. S takes them daily and they're always just STARING at me! lol I've done well so far. Monday will be 2 weeks.

Hey Scorpio, from reading the ingredient list - you MAY be experiencing a toxin cleanse. Cayenne and royal jelly are especially powerful in that way - Treilin could probably give more info, but you may want to stay on it a bit, give it a chance to 'work through'. (If you can hack it! :rainbow: Cleansing can be NOT NICE.)

Well, Girls....don't beat me......I got tired of having no energy....yep, I gave in. I feel GREAT today. LOADS of energy and in a MUCH better mood.

The first day with the RE, I had no headache, but yesterday I had a really annoying nagging one until about 3 PM. When I got home last night, I was toying with the idea of putting off my workout until this morning. THAT WAS IT!!! I had NO motivation and I just wanted to sleep. I went back, pushed thru my training and told myself that I'm goin' back on my EC stack effective 0700 hours!!!!....and I did! lol

It was VERY good. It was kind of a sticky sweet snack. My daughter even liked it! I'll be adding this on those days where I need to get my protein up. Quick, easy and a nice protein increase for the day! Yes, I definitely recommend it! :)
 
Hey SG - just thought I would drop in and see how the bulking stage was treating you! How are you feeling? Can you notice your strength increasing with the extra calorie intake? Are we back on the EC stack again...?? :bigkiss:

Bulking is going well, blew up to 124 lbs the first week and finally came back down to 120 - after I was done with my "feeding frenzy"! Feeling good, but it's hard to get all the calories in sometimes. Last night I was at around 1200 and had NO desire to eat. I ended up eating 2 cups of Healthy Choice SF Pecan ice cream! lol Threw my macros all out of whack, but I got some more calories in. I'm going into my 3rd week and I'm seeing some slight increases with my weights so far.

Yep, back on the stack. Just can't stay off of it.

Well, I could only eat one because I was still full from my protein shake. I had to really try hard to eat that cheesy stick because I was so full, but I just HAD to have one!!! It was delivery....I don't go out much....but that will hopefully be changing soon!

I'm having the reverse problem. Now that I'm limiting my protein macro to 40%, I feel so lost about what else to eat. I love my poultry and seafood! At the cafeteria at work, they call me "Fowl girl" (also pronounced "Foul girl" ;) ) because of all the chicken I consume daily.

Maybe you can try adding egg whites in liquid form or powder form to your diet? Scallops and shrimp that you seem to like have a lot of protein too.
 
Well, I did a little better today. Protein is at 51%, but now my calories are too low. GRRRRRRRRRR!!!:mad:

I'll get it right one of these days!!!! I walked by the seafood while I was shopping the other day, but I wasn't hungry and didn't get everything I should have. I even LOOKED at the scallops and walked right by them. What a dipshit!!! :rolleyes:

:) I've always noticed carbing up the day prior to a hard w/o (i.e. Leg day) would work better? Have you done both? Also drinking Power/Gatorade during the w/o helps too ...

Well, I don't train until 6 PM or later, so I thought I could get enough in just today. I haven't tried both, maybe next leg day, I'll start the the day before and see if it makes a difference.

I'm pretty excited about legs today....I'm gonna do those walking lunges!!!! :) I'll have to just walk around the house though. It won't be on a straightway, so I'll end up hitting some stabilizers in the process.

NICE .. definitely let me know how the carb thing works :)

Make sure to keep your form in tact on the walking lunges... people tend to let shoulders hunch forward or lean forward and slant the back :)

Instead of LUNGE - legs together - LUNGE - Legs together, keep it continous motion, kinda like slow motion, controlled concentrated movements. (I'm sure you know what I mean for for those that don't trying to explain ;))

When I want to challenge myself you can use a med. ball and "Chop" (like you would an axe to wood) while alternating waking lunges OR even get in some calf work by lunge walking, pop up on toes, squeeze glute and LUNGE, repeat ... (like if you're doing a step up, knee up with glute contraction)

The pop up sounds good! I have to do calves tonight anyway!! lol Trying to decide on a plate overhead or DBs at sides....what do you think?

I find it's harder for me to keep them at the sides while REALLY focusing on form, esp. with the knee/toe ups'. Plate isn't that challenging enough for THAT particular exercise, plus it weighs on the arms & kinda distracts me.

Since you just did Chest Bi's & Tri's I would keep em at the sides opposed to holding something 'up' ...

I don't know how you all eat chili especially those that eat like Wendy's. I end up so sick from all the grease and fat from the meat it's enough to tunr me off from it. Let alone when I was 4, I decided I didn't like my mom's chili so I added a cup of grape kool-aid.. MMMMMM BARF, I was to scared to tell her and I was forced to eat the whole bowl. So till this day when I mention anything about grape like I have in the past in my thread this is the reason why!

Actually, I'm sure you've seen the 1" dumbbell handles with the screw-on collars. They are very inexpensive (I paid $14 for each pair of mine), and I actually used those exclusively for my business I had in the States. The price on 1" plates is also very cheap, compared to dumbbells. You should be able to find them for about 50 cents/lb. at Academy or Walmart.

Buy the handles, 4 10's, 4 5's, and 4 2.5's for $50 out the door, and you will now have 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, and 35 lb. pairs of dumbbells that take up VERY LITTLE space! :)

Nelms, your readin' my mind! I thought .... if your going to get 25's, ya' better get 30's too!

About the type of weights...my fiance is ANAL about things matching, so I'm stuck getting the actual dumbells. I get them at Dick's Sporting Goods and they're usually about 49 cents per pound, so they're not TOO bad. I was at Meijer yesterday and they had the 20# Dbs for 15.95 - which is still more than Dicks - so off to Dick's I go! :)

Hey, IP....see above.....I feel like a pig! I put my pants on this morning and the legs are getting tight again. How the hell did I wear these at 23%?!?!?!?

I know most of it today is water from the way I ate this weekend, but it's still hard to deal with. Yesterday morning I was at 125 and I carb loaded yesterday for legs tonight, so I'm a bloated mess!

....not a good day!:(

Nah just laugh at it... If you don't laugh you're going to be miserable for awhile! That's how I started dealing with it. I would start laughing at this pair of pants I couldn't get above my thighs so I started walking around in them like I was a penguin and fell over on my face.. .You have to make a joke about it!!

Thanks, Triel....I need a "pick-me-up" today. In a funk. Of course, it didn't help that Mr. S told me I'm getting fat yesterday. It kept me awake last night. I woke up at 1:45 AM and couldn't go back to sleep. When he got up, it was the first thing I said to him....."do you really think I'm getting fat?" he said no, he was just joking because I was talking about how my pants were getting tighter.....not a funny joke.....

Well, I'm fitting into my 6's again, up from my 4's. I REFUSE to buy pants larger than a 6! I think I need to back my calories off to no higher than 2000. I'm running a little too fast with it I think. I've been close to 3000 calories a day since last week and I think it's a little too high for me.

Maybe I'll take some pics and let you girls decide.

Dude I started out in size 2's and I was wearing rather tight 6's up till a few weeks ago. They are finally loosening a little bit. You may have jumped your cals to fast so just back off a little and see what happens. I'm sure some of that is intermuscular fluid retention with the heavier weight training, increase in cals, etc. plus if you are taking creatine that is also going to hold some water on you.

2's LOL ahhh to wear a two ... I will never EVER be able to fit in one ever again unless I starve myself & do 3 hours of cardio a day, maybe fit an arm in the pant leg ...

I gave my 4's to Sassy In ATL, my 6's & 8's don't fit, just bought 12's that are comfy ... I EVEN bought a 16 b/c I wanted something extra baggy and NOT tight on my body ...

Post some pics, I'll be HAPPY to be honest.
