My male friend (needsize) posted a thread for me about anavar and the side effects, your guys input had suggested that I train heavier to see what I can gain on my own. What would you guys suggest for a routine and diet? I started a new workout Day 1 legs, day2 chest/back day3 shoulders, day4 arms rest inbetween day 2 and 3, my reps are 10-12 sets are 3 I'm taking your advice and starting to lift heavy but finding that my recovery time is very slow. i know that my diet needs work I probably dont eat enough.
I get probably 110-125 grams of protein a day, ieat a lot of green veggies, limit my breads to usually only oatmeal with my egg whites. and try to eat good fats. My stats are i'm 5"1", 120lbs,bodyfat last checked was 17% ,My goal is to be 12% what are my chances? please help:confused:
 
When you lift heavy your recovery time is not as fast...you should alternate heavy/light weeks...hit them heavy every other week..after a heavy day I am usually sore for about 3-4 days minimum..just depends...Dont be worried about number of reps..3 sets and go to failure..try doing some drop sets after your third set to really burn them out..Are you eating 5-6 meals a day? Can you post your exact sample diet? Give this type of training about 6-8 weeks...see where it takes you.
 
diet and routine before anavar

I can give you a rough estimate of my diet meal1 protein shake with a banana before workout 35 grms of protein, meal 2 6 egg whites with oatmeal, meal 3 protein shake, meal4 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts in a spinach salad with oil and vinegar dressing, meal 5 protein shake last meal of the day. Could you give me a sample routine to try with what you suggested i incorparated into my workouts? My upperbody is my weakest point, I get really good gains in my hamstrings without really having to work them hard, my problem is i don't want to look like a tank becuse of being so short, please help! :confused:
 
I would suggest you drop some of the shakes..real food is BEST!!! As far as routines how do you split up your body now? My current split is Chest/Back, Legs, Arms/Shoulders....You can also do Back/Bis, Chest/Tris, Legs, Shoulders..there are various ways you can break it up..I choose 3-4 exercises per body part..starting w/ the bodypart I am training heavy for that day..except on Leg day...If its heavy calves I still do legs first...Do basic exercises..Have you considered working out w/ a trainer for a bit? Just to get ya going in the right direction and for a lil push...

With this new routine I did 2 on 1 off , I always start my week off with legs first, usually squats, onelegged leg press, extensions, curls, back/tri bent rows, pulldowns, behind/front, bi's alt db curls,concentration curls,cable curls then day 3 chest flat db press, incline db press, decline db press tri's headcavers, dips, pushdowns, then shoulder day arnold press, plate raise, side lat raise, seated rear lat raise. then usually on weekends I will comein do extra cardio and whatever muscle group i feel like working, I do abs 5 times a week is that enough? I box twice a week with a trainer also.Am I doing something wrong or am I just impatient?With my work schedule it is really hard for me to substite real food for the amount of protein shakes I intake so this is the only way that I can get my protein Any other suggestions? :confused:
