Room for cheating??

I've been eating nothing but nutritous food for the past 2 months or so. I always try to get in at least 5 meals per day, and rake in about 1.75grams of protein per lb of bodyweight.
I'm wondering if it would be safe to cheat for about a week and eat anything i want and only when i'm hungry. will this be good or bad? i figured this way i could shock my body when i feed it right again in a week or so, after eating whatever. what do u guys think?
 
Depending on your goals, I don't find eating anything "cheating" at all. If you are trying to grow, eating is gonna do it. This includes eating everything.
 
I wouldn't cheat for a week straight. You would be much better off just cheating on a couple times a week. I assume btw you not cutting, just maintaining or bulking. Just learn to cheat at the right times for your body - for example a hour post-workout would work well, throw some HCA or ALA in with that meal to be sure. The harder you workout = the more caloric deficit / gycogen your body will need to replace and the more you can eat. Sugary cheats are best for this, obviously.
 
I eat clean about once a week...it shocks the heck out of my body...

You need to eat to grow...you do not always need to eat clean...if you are doing it the majority of the time...cheating wont hurt...check out my post from today on holidays....eating and training.....i loved it...
