right calf is swollen,hot and red

i injected ttokkyo winny/homebrew fina/qv eq a few days ago and now my shit is fuckin swollen,red, and hot...i have only had this once before when i injected into my quad like a yr ago using some nasty redi-jects and it went away after a few days...could my winny be nasty? i injected into my delt yesterday,the delt hurt last night but today its A O-K...maybe i just didnt inject all the way thru the muscle? what should i do?

Sounds like an infection to me. Your homemade Fina probably is contaminated. You should go to a doctor asap! An untreated infection can really ruin you! Keep us updated.

i have been using the fina/eq/test for 4 wks now i just started the winny and now i am having abcess symptoms..i highly doubt its the homebrew

Whatever is causing it, you need to get it treated asap! There are all sorts of horror stories about people who allowed abscesses to fester untreated. Good luck to you and keep us posted.

Just a thought....if you're going to be injecting homebrews, from now on you might want to have a cycle of a broad-spectrum antibiotic handy as a just-in-case. They're easy enough to get ahold of, and it's worth shelling out 40 bucks or so for peace of mind. With expiry dates what they are, you'd be covered for a couple of years. I don't do homebrews, but I still keep a course of 12 500mg Cipro tabs on hand just in case I suspect an infection.

LM - you need to due a full week of antibiotics. You cant just take a couple and hope your problem goes away. I had the same thing - I had to take 2 antibiotic a day for 7 days. By only taking a couple of the antibiotix your body can develop an immunity to the antibiotix and the negative bacteria can continue to infect your body. Get a full script. Good Luck.
