Quick Question....

kate....

you said you were lightheaded....and can't sleep.....and that you'd cleaned up your diet. how low have your carbs been over the last day or two? that would definitely have alot to do with the lightheadedness and inability to sleep soundly...especially if you've also started training harder/cardio....etc.
 
1) Overtrained (can't sleep, dead giveaway).

2) Could be a viral infection, give it a few days.

3) Hypoglycemia. Try some simple carbs (about 30g) have the ice cream and see if it knocks out the symptoms. If so, then you're hypoglycemic.

Thanks!! Feeling much better today. I took yesterday off in hopes of letting my body rest a little. I stretched a lot, ate well yesterday, and crashed for 10 hours last night. I woke up feeling better.

I think I am coming down with some sort of cold though. Babying myself...drinking tons of fluids....eating clean. W6- wouldn't the world be a happier place if ice cream was good for us and helped us out when we weren't feeling well?? If only it were true...

I am hypoglycemic and have to have more food more often in order to stop being so dizzy and light headed (and i am a total bitch if i don't eat enough in time.) You are probably not eating enough and that is the way your body is letting you know...but at least you are feeling better today.
