I posted this over in the diet board but I never get anything good over there..

My hours have changed and Im forced to work with the "corporate world's" hours of 8-4:30. I HATE getting up and cooking.. I have zero appetite when I first wake up. Two hours later I am starving but when I wake up and couldnt care less about food, it makes me naucious...

I had ideas about fat free cheese sticks and a whole wheat bagel... It would be 50g protein and 50g carbs.. But someone told me string cheese is a bad source of protein..

Anyways, what do you guys think and or do??? The rest of my day is fine.. But this morning stuff kills me...

Get a meal replacement powder. There are thousands out there - find one you like. It is a great way to get quality protein slammed into the system in the morning.

My daily breakfast takes 5 minutes to make and does not taste too bad.

1 Myoplex shake, blend in 1 scoop pf whey, and 1 cup of dry oats. Mix for 30 seconds on high speed and serve.

This will give you around 42 grams of Casein protein, 25 grams of whey, and 40 grams of complex carbs.

1 Cup Oatmeal ready in 2 minutes, 1/2 Teaspoon flaxseed oil, 1TBSP natural Peanutbutter.
Good and good for you!

I use 1 cup of eggwhites, 1 scoop of whey, 1 small banana and 1+ cups of oats.
A little bit of water and some ice.
Blender for a minute.

Taste great.

Honestly, a meal replacement is just as good as a real "food" meal???
Sure - as long as you aren't using it 6 times per day replacing all of your meals. It is just a fast/effective way to keep your body out of catabolism.

Same here, plus I think I am lazy, especially when it comes to cooking.

Not real healthy, but on Sunday I barbeque everything that I can see. Then simply throw it in the refrigerator.

Got up this morning about 4:30 had some Chicken, hamburger, and looking for green beans, but just went back to bed until about 6:00.

Got up, ready for work and grabbed a protein shake for the car.

50 grams of whey with 3/4 cup raw oatmeal, 2 tablespoons of natty PB, one banana and 3/4 cup of yogart. Blend with 1 1/2 cups of skim milk.

canned chicken with some oatmeal

Canned Chicken from albertson's costs only 2 bucks per can with the club card thing and each can has 60 grams of protein and its all lean chicken breast 98% fat free

i awake at 445 in the am. by 5 i have 1 cup of oatmeal and 1 scoop of on whey. workout gets things going really good for me at 6 to 7. i am hungry by then and i get 1.5 scoops whey and about 8 egg whites.. works well for me...

just throw your eggs in the microwave. Open the eggs, put them in a bowl, microwave for 1 minute, sir them up a bit (this opens the air pockets which cause them to explode) then microwave for an additional 1 to 1.5 minutes and you have a 2.5 minute egg breakfast.

use a plastic microwave bowl and it is easy to clean and it doesn't require butter, spray or any other nonsense. Ready to eat egg. Yum.

swallow some water in the shower.
funny you should say that, my g/f will only swallow in the shower...

dude, hard boil some eggs one afternoon when you are home from work, pop them in your mouth in the morning.

Oatmeal takes a lot of clean up, unless you use disposable plates or have a cement trowel to serve with.

Thomas' whole wheat English muffin with a splat of ANPB and a few drops honey, fucking yummy, get you boosted in 5 mins. The number of scoops determines the mount of protein. honey is a simple sugar, in your system fast, carbs from muffin bridge in later. :)

i cool all my meals the night before...all 8 of them...my breakfast is 1.5 cups of oats, eggs and egg whites and 2tb of pb all mixed up....fridge it....then if you want, add a little water in the am and wave it for a few minutes...top it off with a scoop of casein or blend and you have a serious pumch....as nasty as it looks in the am, a few minutes in the wave and you'll never know it was cooked the day before!

Hey Juiced,
I replied to a post before reguarding Oats.

I make a shake that I have recently started adding 1 scoop of Strawberry ON. Tastes pretty good and I'm out the door in 10minutes, cuz I loves to sleep in.

I do different things depending on my mood. Sometimes I cook and sometimes I make a shake. I like mixing oatmeal, protein powder, cinnamon, brown sugar and some milk. Pretty good shake.
