Here's what I'm wondering. Conventionally, most people agree that doing sets of 3 reps will build strength, but not size. But, are heavy sets of 3 reps enough to keep size already gained. Since my cycle finished, I've stopped doing the heavy 5's that I normally do, and have started doing 5 sets of 3 reps for the compound exercises. What I've found is that I haven't really lost any size, and as my recent 600lb dead evidenced, my strength is still climbing despite having the testosterone levels of a 12 year old girl.
I know this question involves gear but I think it belongs in this forum as I'm more specifically looking at the training aspect
