Question for Fitness Competitors

I was wondering if someone could help me with a particular move that is done in the fitness routines? You know the move where they put both of their legs over their shoulders and do a push up? Can anyone do that? I've been stretching like crazy to try and limber up, but my hips don't seem to want to allow me to go any further. Any tips on how to stretch for this move? Do any of you do PNF stretching? I though that might help. Thanks so much!

It's just really hard to explain :) It's not a move I do, but other moves I would have a heck of a time explaining how to do them over the internet :)

fyre,
i really want to do fitness but i am still working on the basics like straddle presses and pike presses. there is no way i can do that move that you're talking about. i still can't do the straddle splits so if anyone has advice on gaining flexibility i would like some too. my whole life i've been able to do left and right leg splits but not middles. i heard that it's harder for some people due to your hip placement actually. i use yoga blocks to try to increase my flexibility though to actually go further down in the splits and stuff.
sorry, that wasn't much help. :)

Thanks for your replies. Brick Girl, would you suggest some PNF stretching? I can do both side splits and I'm almost completely in my straddle split but I still can't get even one leg over for whatever than damn move is called. Teresa, thanks for mentioning the yoga blocks, that's a great idea.
Oh, and Brick Girl, that is one awesome avatar, every time I look at it, i say "Shit, those are some damn nice abs!"

fyre, I know very little about fitness moves, but I wanted to welcome you to the board. I have an enormous amount of respect for needsize, and it seems YOU are tops in his books, so it's great to have you here. :)

Some of you may have noticed a new member with a few posts in the training forum here, Fyre. Since I know her I thought I'd introduce her to the regulars here. She is a fitness competitor, personal trainer with more certificates than I can count, owns the most successful supplement store in my city, and knows more pro body builders on a first name basis than is probably healthy. If any of you guys remember the pics of the jacked up blind guy that I posted a while back, well she is the one who got him ready for the show. She is also the one who will get me ready for my show this year, and you guys know how I feel about taking advice from others......
Fyre, feel free to add anything I left out??????
