In regards to having done anavar and now trying to conceive- you said you were able to conceive while on anavar- were you still getting your period? When I was on it I lost mine and it didnt come back for 2 months after. So, now my obgyn may want to try clomid. Thanks for the info!

NO NO NO - I did not say you can conceive while ON anavar. That is a bad idea. A woman should not try to conceive while actually taking AAS, the extra androgens can directly, and negatively, impact the fetus.

I said I was able to conceive AFTER taking Anavar. I was clean from AAS for over a year, and from ALL supplements for 6 months. Literally, all supplements except protein powder. It has been recommended by some that you be clean from AAS for at least 6 months before trying to conceive.

I find it interesting s/he is recommending Clomid at this stage. Seems to me, Femera would be the drug of choice here - it induces a period.

Clomid is usually added when you have annovulatory cycles - meaning, you have a period, but no ovulation. And this is "proven" after a couple months of charting your cycles and possibly ultrasounds of your overies to show you are not ovulating.

If you lost your period due to AAS, I do not think Clomid should be introduced now. You lost your period due to excess androgens - it is not a "natural loss" of your period. I do not think adding MORE drugs will really help.

But I am no doctor. Does your doctor know WHY you lost your period?
