As most of you know, I used to eat A LOT of sugar, pretty much lived on it 24/7. I still eat it every now and then, but now I eat much less of it and always have some protein or fat with it.
Lately, on very rare occasions when I have eaten something sweet by itself, I feel really bad about 30 minutes later - weak and shaky.
Before cleaning up my diet, I used to be able to eat a ton of sweets and not feel a thing (but that was when I felt bad all the time anyway).
Does this mean my insulin sensitivity has gotten better or worse? I'm thinking that I've gotten more sensitive, but is this good health-wise or not? At least it will keep me from eating sweets by themselves, but I want to know if I have an underlying insulin problem?
Thanks!
