right now i eat tuna on salad with an apple for lunch. but i have been advised against fruit as it is more likely to store as fat. so i know that yam would be the best but i have no access to warm this meal up. I am an a construction worker and am always on different locations. i dont like fating cold yams. so i was thinking if all bran or fiber one would be a ok subst. it has a low GI and a lot of fiber, plus no sugar. I would put it on my salad like crutons. Any ideas
