M MidwestJ New member Mar 31, 2002 #2 When we do them we pull our chin above the bar not behind the head. That's just what works best for us and we feel it the most in our lats that way. Just do what works for you. the chins work best for us. A really good exercise!

N NFG123 New member Mar 31, 2002 #4 Med or wide grip, chin above the bar. I dont do ANY other variations. I think behind the beck puts a lot of stress on your shoulder's AC joint. I never do them or BNP (behind the neck press). Thats my .02. NFG
