Protien Drink w/ Dinner? right after workout.

Hey guys. i finally reached my goals as in my other threads read. Now its time for me to get some weigght back on for the winter, and do a crazy cutter before summer again since i know i can easily do it.

But my question is, im increasing my cals slowly. Im eating like i used to just bigger portions.

But heres my question....
I do situps/pushups/shadowboxing every other night.
On the nights i do the workout i try to cook my dinner arround 7:00(chicken breast, someveggies) Now i workout, do my excercises and when i am done i have my Dinner.

I eat my dinner with a protein shake(no dex or malto in this PWOS) right after working out. Negative or Possitive? It seems to be working well. I can see my muscles shaping up. Im back up to 160. By end of Sept i will be back in a gym so i can really get my bulker started. right now i am in "loading" phase lol.

but can anyone shed some light on the topic of Eating DINNEr right after workign out.

I figured the Whey would be digested quicker then the chicken for the protein, but the chicken will also allow long term protien digestion over the next 2-3 hours no? And the Carbs are good carbs from the veggies. Any input?
 
If you are eating dinner right after it will take hours (digestion) for your body to absorb prot/carbs...

you would be better off like this: Work out, have your PWO inmediately after, 1 hour later, eat. Since whey is digested so fast (some articles claim as fast as 20 mins) you will have the prot right there.

How many cals are you eating now? I'm also ramping up... currently at 2500, next week start with 3000 and 2 weeks later 3500.

Try madcow's 5x5 single factor program... that shit is crazy man, I 'm sore all over... it is very simple, you go in and out of the gym... MON-WED-FRI... but you squat ON ALL THREE DAYS, you also do Deadlifts, barbell rows, pull-ups and bench-presses... it is ONLY compound movements, designed to work your core
 
ya pint, right now im hitting trying to hit 2500 but damn from extreme cutting to bulking i cant eat all this lol. Im definately going to do the 5X5 program to put on mass. I do make sure to Drink the protein drink immediately. I love doing Core workouts. Right nows im focusing on core workouts to get my Core very strong before i get crazy. I want to have the right basics. Thanks for the help pint.

so basically ill try to have my PWOS. then eat dinner 1hr later. preety simple.
I have some updated pics im going to post later or tommarow. I feel great and i can feel my growth has gone up.

also, ever since "boxercising" i can see my traps and shoulder and my upper back muscles have developed. You should seriously give it a try. (besides it makes your punch deadly since all the muscles that are used in a punch are strong as hell)

Im off all supplements besides Whey and my Multivitamins. But since im going to be doing a bulker i have some clen/eca lying around for the next big cutter. But that cutter should be piece of cake. Thanks fellas!
