Protein Shakes

what is the best protein shake to get and where can i get them.. i live in nj...

also anyone take adipokinetix w/MM4? if so how do u like it?

Best as far as nutrition or taste? I think Ispoure is pretty good as far as protein and carbs go... zero carbs and quite a bit of protein...but, for taste I like the ISS Research Whey protein in vanilla! They are all pretty much the same in my opinion....

As far as where to get them - do they have GNC's in NJ? I am guessing they would - if they do, then they would have them for sure. Also, a large fitness facility with a pro-shop would have them as well.....

Hi Backinshape,

I use Isopure Dutch Chocolate I LOVE IT really convienent because I don't need to mix it.... you can get it at GNC.
I also am usuing Adipo I do not feel jittery at all gives me a nice boost.

I also use Adipo, but i stack it with Guggulbolic...i really like it, the only weird thing i get is some chills running up the back of my neck, but other than that, it's great. I have been on it for about a week and a half and i really notice a difference.

From what I have seen, I would be very leary of supplements from fitness centers on a quality and value basis.

Its very convenient to be able to walk into GNC & pick up stuff, though if you get in the habit of consuming this stuff on a regular basis, it can get $$$$. (GNC ain't cheep!) You might keep an eye out for any local discount nutrition centers or consider ordering from online vendors when you find the flavor you like!

I personally like Isopure & CrossPro. These are good quality protein mixes, low to zero carb and also mix well with water. I found after awhile I just couldn't stand the taste of any of them so I have to keep rotating on a regular basis....

I get the same chills I always get mine in my forearms and bi's. I love Adipo, i have take xenadrine and hydroxycut, but i like adipo by far.



If you plan on getting anything from GNC, plan on getting raped.

That's for sure...GNC makes a killing on their stuff. Way too overpriced...that is probably why every time i drive by GNC (it's a few blocks from my house) the parking lot is ALWAYS empty. My husband went there once to buy weight gain shakes and spent an arm and a leg even with their GNC gold card. You are much better off ordering online, or finding a different health food store near you...I don't know if their are Pick N Saves near you, but ours has a wellness center with a lot of good stuff at good prices.

Golfer18...I like to stay away from any products with ephedra like Xenadrine or Hydroxycut b/c i used to take straight ephedrine when i was younger for a high and those really screwed with me, so i figured i'd give Adipo a shot and i really like it too. Are you stacking your Adipo with anything?

Hey backinshape I see you don't live to far from Rockaway NJ. There is a place called Nutrition Zone and the prices are below wholesale, and they beat anyones prices. There # is 973-664-9444. Tell em I sent you! Don't waste your $ at G.N.C!!
As for protein, Isopure in the glass is outta this world, even my girl drinks it, and she's hard to please!!
