Ok, you know your protein shake bottles that you drink out of.... How do you get rid of that horrible smell of almost spoiled milk? No matter how good I wash it out it always smells. Is that normal?

god speed to you..i never have smelled mine. i cant stand the smell of regular whey

It will stay in that bottle forever. I forgot to wash the one I took for my breaks at work, accidently left it there over the weekend in my locker. I had Banana Creme in that thing, needless to say I sprayed my locker with a friends Tag Body Spray and threw the bottle away.

Invest into a new one.

This is after a wash right after I drink it, I guess im going to have to start scrubbing it aswell. Not like im letting it sit in there

Wash it with a bottle brush, in hot soapy water. Then put 1c vinegar in with water, to the top, & let soak.

you'll never get rid of it, but you can wash it immediately and try to not smell it. then buy a new one every 6 months or so. it wont effect the taste, but the smell gets into the plastic...... somethign ur not going to scrub out

Yeah man, I work at a restraunt and the dishwasher there gets really hot and it gets rid of the smell real good. But, when I don't I just have a nalgene bottle by the way, and I just hate the smell, Just hold your breath and chug the whey.

Add water and lemon juice to your bottle and put it into a microwave for a minute, it will get rid of the smell and your bottle will smell lemony

My shaker bottle on it says Zyliss and mine never smells. I use chocolate Whey and I take it with milk. The only way that mine will smell is if I leave it sit for about 3-4 days even then I just use hot water and the smell is gone. When I smell my bottle all I smell is chocolate Whey.

Wash it immediately if possible...even if it is just with plain water. Wash with soap and water first, then I will usually use bleach to clean mine as well every now and then.
