Proper Preacher Curls

Hey,
When you do preacher curls are you supposed to extend your arms all the way out (so they are straight) then curl. Or just extend them a little bit then curl?

all the way out.

also make sure you're elbows are not sticking out - you can put too much pressure on your wrists and injure your forearms.

Depends on how you want to hit the muscle that day. Assuming you want to change up your routine and not do the same movement everytime.

Outer grip and extending all the way out will work the lower part of the bi and the outside of the brachiolis. If you do a short extenion 45 degrees roughly you'll concentrate more on the upper or peak of the bi's. The wider the grip the more outside you work. Narrow grip works the inside.

Gyno-Milker = wrong.

You an't isolate different parts of the bicep.

If you insist on doing preachers, then don't straighten your arm fully. That could be very dangerous. Go as far down as you feel comfortable.

I personally wouldn't waste my time with preachers.

Barbell curls and DB curls are best.

sometimes you just have to go with how you feel. i know you dont belive in working different areas of the biceps. but the stretch feels good in my lower part of my biceps...and i get a good pump and i get sore...and you know what they say...getting a pump is like cumming
