pre-workout snack . .

I know it's not about anabolic androgenic

steroids, but i need some opinions . . .

Is my pre-workout snack good?

I'll eat peanuts, raisins, with banana or apple.

Does this sound like a good pre-workout snack?

Of course, i'll also take 20g protein shake also.

Sounds great, makes me hungry.

the protein shake is what makes it real, you could increase it to 40g, no big deal,

lol i was asking cause i'm eating it right now before

my workout. I just wanted to check and see if it is good.

I used to do 40g protein before, but i just doubt that

over 20g really even gets into the muscle.

2 hours PRe workout a Bowl of Oatmeal, no dairy, light on sweetener, with a scoop of Protein powder and a dash of Creatine ( I use RawMCC)

30 ounces of water

love omega's idea, I add peanut butter and raisins to my oatmeal.
I've had this same discussion many times at gym. The overwhelming response has been apples.

I always opt for something light.
Usually protein shake w/ skim milk and some fruit.
Don't want anything heavy in my stomach while working out.

Sounds like a recipe lol. "dash of creatine"

Why do you say no dairy? I don't take dairy before

work outs, but i'd like an idea as to why your against

it. The more i know, the better. Expand on this a

little more . . what does oatmeal do for pre-workout?

Are you saying light on sweetener for health reasons?

Or because it actually messes up your work out?

I know sugar helps creatine uptake. So i was wondering

why you go light on it?
