Pre-juice 5x5: Darkness on the Horizon

Did you find any changes to your workouts from switching to every day dosing? Looking from here it didn't seem to make any difference.

Congrats on the PR.
Not really, but it's hard to say for sure. I was expecting it to be obvious though.

And thanks bud (you too Jim)

Congrats on the deadlift PR. And belated congratulations on your "real life" and school, uh, PRs.

Any noticeable changes in body composition (or weight, although that'd be a consequence of food, not gear) during the cycle?

Thanks.

That's another surprise - no real fat loss. Gut still measures 39" on the dot, but I'm around 255 pounds as of today (starting weight was 240). So technically I've recomped a little, but not much.

I've been eating more lately and I can see it in my arms and chest, and not at all in my gut. I'll post 'after' pics/measurements soon. I wish I would have just eaten how I wanted throughout - probably would have gotten stronger.

I never seem to stick to a fat loss attempt for long. My HST run yielded the most significant fat loss I've experienced in years. But at least I don't care that much :) Given a choice I'd have a sixpack, but the reality is that I don't particulary care about my appearance other than wanting to be pretty big (no problem) and not being a tub of goo (something that may be an issue with age). But who knows. I seem to waiver and get the notion that I should lean out every so often, so maybe I'll try again some day.

You'll be saying the same as 50 looms and still not caring.

Anyway, don't start to think this is over yet. You still have another week to go and then there's the job of holding onto everything you've gained.

I expect I'm not the only one looking forward to the pics.

G5.0, for the love, man! I've been gone for 2 days and missed all these PRs...congrats! Your numbers are just amazing, man, especially for your pressing exercises. I'm ignorant on the gear side, but I wish you the best in keeping all of this!

I still can't get a pic that does my legs justice - they look a ton bigger in the mirror than in the pics. Oh well.

It's been an educational and interesting ride. You look very different across the board in the 'after' pics. This pic of the leg shows some impressive musculature.

Your lifts have climbed in such an extraordinary fashion that I'm still rocked by your progress. One often hears of people mentioning that their strength 'went through the roof' and you kind of think they mean they added fifteen or twenty to their bench. You've added more than a hundred to your squat and the previous PR had been with belt and wraps rather than fully raw and I think the changes to your physique reflect your lifting progress.

How do your joints feel? Does the tren offer the joint protection that deca reputedly offers?

I'm looking forward to the results of the next month as the dust clears and your hormones return to normal. Thanks for these great logs and congrats on an astounding cycle.

Aw shucks, you're making me blush :)

My joints feel fantastic. My back has never felt better, my knees are great as usual (for a littel bit front squats made 'em hurt, but when I watched my vid I realized I wasn't bottoming 'em out, so since I've been going deeper they've felt fine after fronts). My elbows gave me just the slightest hint of pain last week but I'm gonna wear a long sleeve shirt and warm up longer to see if it goes away (it was very minor and I only mention it to be as forthcoming as possible). I had a minor twinge in my right shoulder last week but I think it was b/c I slept on it in a funny position, so I'm not concerned about ti either.

I think my back feels so good b/c I've been very careful to pull a belly-full of air on pretty much anything that requires core stability, esp. squats, deads, and overheads. That's the only change I've made to my lifting that should have any effect on my back.
