I read this thread and think: too much talk about differant exercises and routines and not enough actually doing it lol
you want explosive power then devote some time to a few lifts/exercises that help make you explosive. You dont need a big long list just pick a few and work them hard. For example hang snatch and box jump.
put priority on those two while also working your static strength with deadlifts, full squats, benchpress, standing press, chinups and core work. Hit these hard and make progress.
Conditioning work a couple of times a week on off days. Eat enough to replace what is burned up by these sessions and you shouldnt need to worry about muscle loss.
Before you know it you should be explosive and strong with the cardiovascular capability to actually put them to use in real life...
