I have been having a cup of oats plus a protein shake PWO for several months now and find it superior to the simple sugar/protein shake combination.

I do however consume dextrose during and post-workout on carb-up days.
 
For those suggesting it, why dex and malt?

I just take dex. Is there a difference? better results from malt and dex?

splenda is maltodextrin. couple scoops on some oats, add some cinnamon, sliced almonds. hits the spot!!
