Well, DOH! Are you getting any protein? Are you lifting weights? Do you eat complex carbohydrates? Are you getting 10-12 x your bodyweight in calories? You need to do these things before your body will let go of the fat. If you eat "nothing" your body will think that EVERYTHING that comes in MUST be stored, just in case, because it's starving - no fat loss. You have to trick your body into thinking it's getting enough to make it let go of the fat. You need to lift heavy weights to make your body think it NEEDS the muscle, but not the fat.
If you had, like, NO money in your bank account, and in fact, were in debt, would you THROW AWAY 10 bucks that someone gives you????? NOOO - you'll hang onto it for dear life!
